Trump Claims Pelosi's Worst Nightmare Is About To Become A Reality
On Sunday Trump explained Pelosi's nightmare is about to become a reality. He claims that Pelosi made a huge mistake when she moved forward with the impeachment and now she is going to suffer the consequences.
"I think she’s a very confused, very nervous woman," the president told Sean Hannity on Fox News. "I don’t think she wanted to do this. I think she really knew what was going to happen, and it’s her worst nightmare has happened."
He also predicted that Pelosi would not remain House speaker for long. "I think the radical left is going to take over," Trump said.
Indeed, between May 2018 and March 2019, Pelosi repeatedly insisted that impeachment must be bipartisan.
"Impeachment is a very serious matter. If it happens it has to be a bipartisan initiative," the House speaker said in May 2018. "Unless you have bipartisan consensus, impeachment is a divisive issue in the country."
"I’m not for impeachment. This is news. I’m going to give you some news right now because I haven’t said this to any press person before," Pelosi told The Washington Post in March 2019. "But since you asked, and I’ve been thinking about this: Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country. And he’s just not worth it."
See so she knew that it was a bad move, but the progressive Dems in her party, and some extreme Trump haters, pushed her to go for it.
"A decade ago, Nancy Pelosi went all-in to advance the purely partisan and controversial ObamaCare scheme. It cost her the speakership. This effort to eject President Trump from office means again resting her future on a political power play at the expense of good government. Pelosi will now spend the next year suggesting that the Senate trial didn’t count and assenting to even more investigations.
It’s the sad death spiral of a long career that will end with her sacrificing her remaining credibility and speakership yet again to ram through a radical agenda. With the Trump acquittal, Pelosi’s career will be marked not only by losing her majority over ObamaCare, including her infamous comment, “we have to pass the bill so we can find out what is in the bill,” but now a feckless attempt to upend the electoral process in reckless fashion."
She should have put her foot down and stopped this nonsense from ever starting. She was warned not to go forward by the legal expert Jonathan Turley and just the fact that not a single GOP member joined her, should have been a clear sign that this impeachment case is a dud. So now she reaps what she sowed.
