Usually, once a president gets out of Office they get out of the limelight, but Trump is an exception to the norm as he has been actively trying to rally conservatives for the upcoming midterm election and 2024 presidential election. Trump is trying to prevent Biden from getting a second term. During a speech at a Republican National Committee donor gathering, Trump spoke out against McConnell and Pence for buckling to the MSM and Dems.
“If that were Schumer instead of this dumb son of a b****, Mitch McConnell, they would never allow it to happen,” Trump said.”
“They would have fought it,” Trump said at the event at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Fla., where he also claimed the election was “bulls—.”
“Before leaving office, Trump had scolded Pence for not intervening to stop the congressional certification of the vote tally.”
“I wish that Mike Pence had the courage to send it back to the legislatures,” Trump said.
Trump then went to explain how he believed Biden is going to be a one-term president.
“I stand before you this evening filled with confidence that in 2022, we are going to take back the House (of Representatives) and we are going to reclaim the Senate. And then in 2024, a Republican candidate is going to win the White House,” he said.
“Saturday’s speech will be welcomed words to the Republican donors visiting Mar-a-Lago to hear directly from President Trump. Palm Beach is the new political power center, and President Trump is the Republican Party’s best messenger,” said Trump adviser Jason Miller.”
He’s right Dems have been fighting hard to get legislation passed for the Biden Administration. Senator Schumer is trying to get rid of the filibuster to take away the GOP’s main tool to stop legislation they don’t agree with. But Trump was practically alone when he was in Office, he had to fight his own party and Dems in order to get things done.
