Susan Rice Slams Trump For Pushing For Patriotism In Schools
The Dems seem to be at war against Patriotism. Just look at the hot dumpster fire that is now the NFL. They used to provide Americans with entertainment and now they have politicized it to the point that there is a black national anthem. Since when did football players stop playing for America? But I digress.. Trump is trying to fix this anti-patriotic movement and wants to encourage patriotism in schools. So of course Dems are upset. Susan Rice claims Trump is the same as Communist Leader Mao for trying to encourage students to love their country.
Rice said as much will being interviewed by Erin Burnett.
Trump: "America's founding set in motion the unstoppable chain of events that abolish slavery, secured civil rights, defeated communism and fascism, and built the most fair, equal and prosperous nation in human history."
Burnett: "What is your response to the President?"
Rice: "This was one of the most astonishing speeches I've heard him give. He talks about patriotic education, I thought I was listening to Mao Zedong running Communist China. We don't have a system of patriotic education where the Dear Leader tells the people what they must learn. We open students' minds. We give them facts. We teach them how to analyze. We teach them civics and the foundations of our Constitution. And when you study the Constitution, which appears Donald Trump hasn't, you understand that it is a living document that has evolved."

Libs like Susan Rice here it seems would rather watch our country fall apart as opposed to teaching a little patriotism. When did patriotism become a cuss word? Rice over here thinks that encouraging a little national pride is indoctrinating students who are being taught to be free thinkers. Has she been living under a rock? Schools are liberal machines pushing liberal ideologies on students and forcing out any speaker that might provide a different perspective. The real issue would be that lib teachers would probably protest if they had to teach students some national pride.
