Sen. Rubio Makes Pelosi An Offer She Can't Refuse
House Speaker Pelosi was interviewed the other day by James Corden on the "Late Late Show." Corden asked Pelosi how she was getting through this pandemic and Pelosi informed him it was her ice cream collection that was making the situation Bearable. She then showed off her collection opening up one of her industrial fridges and revealed her collection. It was primo stuff. This was not Breyers, Häagen-Dazs, or even the expensive Ben & Jerry's, it was Jenis. Pelosi had numerous pints on Jenis in her freezer that run for about $12 dollars pop, you could easily estimate that there was over $100 of ice cream in her freezer and she didn't think anything of it. We are in a pandemic and Pelosi over here is flaunting her wealth while snubbing small businesses. Senator Marco Rubio saw this and knew what he has to do in order to help small businesses get the relief they need during this pandemic. He offered Pelosi ice cream, trying to appeal to her soft spot.
“I will give you all the ice cream I have in here, Madam Speaker, if you will fund small business and stop holding it hostage,” Rubio offered.

Rubio is trying to get Pelosi to sign off on a bill that would help small businesses stay afloat.
The Paycheck Protection Program "was part of the CARES Act, the relief bill passed after the government shut down businesses they deemed nonessential. Small businesses, which employ a majority of the workforce, were depending upon the PPP for funding to retain workers and keep their businesses afloat as the government experiments with closing down parts of the economy and requiring Americans to stay home. Every day the PPP goes without funding, small businesses lay off workers and close up shop for good."
Rubio has to step up his game, m&m ice cream is way too common for the ice cream gourmet Pelosi. That's what us common folk can afford.
