New Evidence In Sexual Assault Case Against Biden Is Getting Too Big For MSM To Ignore
Two more people have come forward since Friday's bombshell report of a sexual assault in 1993. Tara Reade was reportedly delivering Joe Biden's gym bag. Based on Reade's statements, the encounter was horrifying but also extra sleazy. Since the story broke, even the mainstream media began covering it. Even in his younger days, Biden was known for erratic and off-color comments, so much so that this story has even CNN questioning the former vice president- and it's easy to see why.
According to RedState, Tara Reade alleges that Biden cornered her in a Senate hallway, lifted her skirt and penetrated her with his fingers. When she resisted his advances, Reade claimed Biden said, “Aw man, I heard you liked me.” Then, pointed at her and said, “You’re nothing to me.” She claimed he then shook her shoulders and said, “You’re OK, you’re fine.”
two more sources have come forward to corroborate certain details about Reade's claims. One of them — a former neighbor of Reade's — has told Insider for the first time, on the record, that Reade disclosed details about the alleged assault to her in the mid-1990s.
"This happened, and I know it did because I remember talking about it," Lynda LaCasse, who lived next door to Reade in the mid-'90s, told Insider.
'The other source, Lorraine Sanchez, who worked with Reade in the office of a California state senator in the mid-'90s, told Insider that she recalls Reade complaining at the time that her former boss in Washington, DC, had sexually harassed her, and that she had been fired after raising concerns.
LaCasse told Insider that in 1995 or 1996, Reade told her she had been assaulted by Biden. "I remember her saying, here was this person that she was working for and she idolized him," LaCasse said. "And he kind of put her up against a wall. And he put his hand up her skirt and he put his fingers inside her. She felt like she was assaulted, and she really didn't feel there was anything she could do."
Sanchez told Insider that Reade complained at the time about being mistreated by her former employer.
"[Reade said] she had been sexually harassed by her former boss while she was in DC," Sanchez said, "and as a result of her voicing her concerns to her supervisors, she was let go, fired." Sanchez mentored Reade after she left Washington from 1994-1996."
Sanchez added that she didn't recall any specifics of the abuse but was aware that it took place.
This has to be a relief for Reade to have some validation. She reportedly choked back tears when she spoke about her mom during the interview. Reade's mother supported her daughter after the attack and tried to get her story out there. “I get emotional even now," Reade said. Adding, "and I gave her such a hard time about [calling] Larry King’s show that I feel really bad that I couldn’t say to her now, ‘Thank you so much,’ and give her a hug. And I think the most powerful part for me was just how she crossed space and time to help me.”
Biden leaves little doubt in the case. His track record of allegations and candid creepy moments caught on film, speak for themselves. Here is hoping that Reade will get some shred of justice, even after all these years.
