President Trump broke a Farsi record with his tweet to the Iranian Protesters with over 300k likes. The post had another first as Trump’s tweet was in Farsi as opposed to English. He then followed up by telling Iranian Leaders not to kill the protesters and to give the people back their free speech.
“To the brave, long-suffering people of Iran: I’ve stood with you since the beginning of my Presidency, and my Administration will continue to stand with you. We are following your protests closely, and are inspired by your courage.”
“To the leaders of Iran – DO NOT KILL YOUR PROTESTERS. Thousands have already been killed or imprisoned by you, and the World is watching. More importantly, the USA is watching. Turn your internet back on and let reporters roam free! Stop the killing of your great Iranian people!”
Trump was referring to the Iranians who took to the streets to protest the current Regime as they just killed over 176 people when they shot down a Ukrainian Commercial Plane. The Iranian leadership claimed it was an accident as it was while they were firing missiles at our U.S. Bases in Iraq.
Secretary Pompeo tweetd about the protests.
“The voice of the Iranian people is clear. They are fed up with the regime’s lies, corruption, ineptitude, and brutality of the IRGC under
Iran is going to have a tough time with this one. But I wonder how they are going to make it up to Ukraine and the families from various countries including Canada and Sweden that lost loved ones in their reckless attack.
The Iranian people have shown by their courageous PROTESTS that they do indeed care about the atrocious attack on the Ukrainian airliner that killed `176 innocents, but it is clear so far at least that the evil regime in place since 1979, which has killed thousands if its own citizens since, maybe far more since their society is pretty much closed to Westerners, DOES NOT , or at least not from the heart but possibly as a matter of political expediency to SEEM to care. Time Will tell but their history always speaks louder than their meaningless rhetoric of justification. That everyday Iranians have so reacted DESPITE the PERSONAL THREATS FROM THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT SHOWS HOW DISSATISFIED THEY ARE WITH IT AND THE FACT THEY ARE MUMBLING EPITHETS OF REGIME CHANGE IS MOST STARTLING. Perhaps Iraq should be less concerned about our withdrawal and more about their “neighbors,” and their future intent?
I agree. And it speaks VOLUMES that the democrat part and the main stream media in the United States walk step in step with the Iranian regime. Disgraceful!
GOTTA’ LOVE IT -President Trump being a headache to corruptocrats, not only in the United States, but worldwide.
When you have disarmed citizens the government has total control and the citizens have next to no chance in this battle. Cuba was a perfect example of this plus most of South America today.
