Trump Tears Rep Cheney Apart After Her Presidential Run Claim
Earlier this week Rep. Liz Cheney claimed she was not ruling out a 2024 Presidential Run. Rep Liz Cheney is one of the few Republicans that voted to impeach Trump over the Capitol Hill Raid. I guess when he told his supporters to peacefully protest, she felt that was inciting. When former President Trump heard that she might run in 2024 he was less than pleased and released a statement on his page.
“Liz Cheney is polling sooo low in Wyoming, and has sooo little support, even from the Wyoming Republican Party, that she is looking for a way out of her Congressional race.
Based on all polling, there is no way she can win. She’ll either be yet another lobbyist or maybe embarrass her family by running for President, in order to save face. This warmongering fool wants to stay in the Middle East and Afghanistan for another 19 years, but doesn’t consider the big picture—Russia and China!”
But he may have been a bit preemptive as Cheney was not saying she would definitely run in 2024, she just said she might run in the future.
“I’m not ruling anything in or out — ever is a long time,” she told The Post when asked if she would ever consider running in the future."
Ever since she turned on Trump, he has been making it his mission to get rid of her.
"Trump has repeatedly called for ouster, with a group of House Republicans unsuccessfully attempting to force her out of leadership earlier this year.
She currently faces multiple primary challengers for her House seat, with Trump allies including Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) actively campaigning against her following her decision to vote to impeach the former president.
Cheney said she is “confident” that she’ll ultimately win her primary despite efforts to unseat her."
But really Cheney proved that she sides more with House Dems than she does her own party. So maybe that's a sign that she is in the wrong party and should stop lying to us all and admit it, or better yet do us all a favor and resign.
