Triggered Lib Sends Nasty Note To Couple Celebrating Christmas
It is that time of year again the stockings are being hung with care and lights are flickering on trees. It is the most wonderful time of the year. So you'd think that after this tough year of protests, looting, mass vandalism, the pandemic, and Biden "winning" the presidential election, it would be nice to see some Christmas cheer for a change. But a Minnesota couple quickly found out that putting up Christmas lights is now ridiculously seen as triggering.
A triggered Lib sent the couple a letter telling them they should know better than to celebrate Christmas in these trying times.
"I couldn't help but notice your Christmas lights display. During these unprecedented times, we have all experienced challenges which casual words just don't describe what we're feeling. The idea of twinkling, colorful lights are a reminder of divisions that continue to run through our society, a reminder of systemic biases against our neighbors who don't celebrate Christmas or who can't afford to put up lights of their own."
"We must do the work of educating ourselves about the harmful impact an outward facing display like yours can have. "I challenge you to respect the dignity of all people, while striving to learn from differences, ideas, and opinions of our neighbors. We must come together collectively and challenge these institutional inequities. St. Anthony is a community welcoming of all people, and we must demand better for ourselves."
This year was all over the place and we all need a break. Celebrating Christmas is a fantastic way to get our minds off of all the bad that happened this year and instead focus on family. This Scrooge of a Lib needs to get his head out of his butt and get into the spirit of the season. Yes, not everyone can afford to put lights up or buy expensive gifts. But lights are put up on Houses to show others and celebrate. It is not about social classes or any of the nonsense that this sour Lib whined about. Christmas is about coming together and enjoying the company of your family and friends. So the couple should keep it up.
