Pfizer finally has a vaccine out and in the UK they have been administering the vaccine since the 2nd of this month. This vaccine is supposed to be the saving grace to put an end to all of the lockdown and overreaching madness that has been happening here in the U.S. But now there seems to be a slight hitch as two people that received the vaccine had an anaphylactoid reaction. So now U.K. health officials are warning that the vaccine should not be administered unless there are resuscitation measures available.
“People with a history of significant allergic reactions should not have the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid jab, regulators say.
It came after two NHS workers had allergic reactions on Tuesday.
The advice applies to those who have had reactions to medicines, food or vaccines, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency said.
The two people had a reaction shortly after having the new jab, had treatment and are both fine now.
They are understood to have had an anaphylactoid reaction, which tends to involve a skin rash, breathlessness and sometimes a drop in blood pressure. This is not the same as anaphylaxis which can be fatal.
Both NHS workers have a history of serious allergies and carry adrenaline pens around with them.”
“As is common with new vaccines, the MHRA have advised on a precautionary basis that people with a significant history of allergic reactions do not receive this vaccination after two people with a history of significant allergic reactions have responded adversely,” NHS medical director Stephen Powis said.
The United States needs to roll this vaccine out pronto. We have states where small business owners are on their last legs due to the tyrannical-like leadership of some Dems. It seems like even with the serious requirement of having to have resuscitation measures available, the vaccine will only adversely affect a very small portion of the population that have heavy-duty allergies. So if we can just get most of the country vaccinated then this pandemic will finally be done with and we can go back to normal.
