Things Turn Deadly After Man Suspects Girlfriend Has COVID-19
We have got to calm down as a society. I am not downplaying the seriousness of the virus. I take it very seriously and firmly believe in social distancing- but there are limits to everything. When social distancing interrupts another person's rights, for one. The second is allowing fear to get the best of us.
That's exactly what happened when a to an Illinois man and his girlfriend, according to reports:
"At about 8 p.m. Thursday, Will County sheriff's deputies went to a home in Lockport Township, about 30 miles southwest of Chicago, to conduct a welfare check. All of the doors and windows were locked from the inside, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies and fire personnel forced their way into the home. Patrick Jesernik, 54, and Cheryl Schriefer, 59, were found dead in separate rooms with obvious signs of trauma to their heads, the sheriff's office said in a statement. The couple, who were not married, had been together for eight years, according to Cathy Hoffmeyer, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's office. A revolver containing two spent shell casings and three live rounds was found near Jesernik's body, the sheriff's office said. There were no signs of a struggle, and the home was neat and orderly."
"Two days before the murder-suicide, Schriefer was tested for the virus as she was having difficultly breathing, family members told investigators.
Jesernik believed the two were suffering from the bug, according to family."
It is suspected that Patrick Jesernick killed his girlfriend Cheryl Schriefer out of fear that she had contracted the virus and given it to him as well. And really even if he was infected, unless he had underlying issues, he had a good chance of beating the virus. This is the side effect of the MSM making it out like everyone is going to die from this pandemic. This pandemic is understandably worrisome, people are going to get sick and a small portion are, unfortunately, not going to beat it. But most of us will beat this virus and that's what we all need to keep in mind.
