The Whole Neighborhood Was LIVID After Who Was Building A Security Wall Around Their Home…

It seems that President Joe Biden has decided to take a page out of former President Trump’s playbook by building a wall. However, this wall isn’t the one Trump famously demanded along the Mexican-American border. Instead, Biden is spending taxpayer money to erect a privacy fence around his exclusive beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, to protect himself during his vacations away from the White House.

Photos of the wall, originally obtained by the Daily Mail, reveal that workers are busy constructing the barrier, which will separate Biden’s property from his neighbors. These neighbors are outraged at the president’s decision to build a wall around his vacation home while refusing to continue securing Trump’s legacy wall along the southern border. As they see it, Biden’s actions are hypocritical.

The wall being built around Biden’s beach house consists of large stone pillars and white fencing. Although it has been in the works for some time, the project is finally nearing completion, ensuring the president’s privacy while he enjoys his time on the Delaware shore. Biden is reportedly spending nearly half a million dollars on this project – a considerable sum for a man who has publicly opposed Trump’s border wall.

Republicans are infuriated by the president’s actions, as they see him protecting his own privacy while disregarding the security of the nation. Ohio Republican Representative Jim Jordan sarcastically tweeted, “So, walls work at Joe Biden’s beach house, but not the southern border?” His tweet highlights the perceived inconsistency in Biden’s stance on walls, particularly given his opposition to Trump’s border wall.

The plan to construct the privacy screen at Biden’s beach house dates back to 2021 when the Department of Homeland Security awarded a contract to Turnstone Holdings, LCC for additional fencing. This contract aimed to ensure the president’s safety during his occasional visits to the Delaware shore.

Initially, taxpayers were expected to cover a $490,324 bill for the “purchase and installation of security fencing” at Biden’s Rehoboth Beach home. However, due to inflation, the cost of the project has risen by approximately $34,000 from the original contract price. Although the exact reason for the price hike remains unclear, it is evident that American taxpayers are now shouldering a heavier financial burden to secure the president’s privacy and safety during his beachside retreats.

Construction of Biden’s security wall is anticipated to continue throughout 2023, with the privacy screen slated for completion by September of the same year. Regrettably, this means the president will miss out on enjoying his summer vacation time at the beach that year, protected by the new barrier.

It’s crucial to consider the implications of Biden’s decision to build a wall around his beach house while refusing to continue the work on Trump’s border wall. This move not only highlights the inconsistency in his policy stance but also demonstrates a lack of concern for the security and well-being of ordinary Americans who are paying for the project.

While many locals in Rehoboth Beach are delighted that the president visits their town and support his right to safeguard his family, it’s important to question whether the cost and message of this wall are in the best interests of the American people. As local Delaware resident Jenn Stone told NBC News, “Not everybody has the best intentions. If he wants to keep him and his family safe, he has every right to do that.” However, should this right be prioritized over the broader concerns of national security and consistency in policy?

The construction of a privacy wall around President Biden’s vacation home raises questions about his priorities and the judicious use of taxpayer money. It’s crucial to hold our leaders accountable for their actions and demand transparency in their decision-making, particularly when the American people are the ones bearing the financial burden.
