The View Host Takes Kaepernick Crush To A Whole New Level
So are they giving out peace prizes for disrespecting the American Flag now? Liberals are about to clean up if that's the case. "The View" host Sunny Hostin brought up the ridiculous idea that NFL Kneeler Colin Kaepernick deserved to be awarded, but that's not all. Hostin also feels that Kaepernick should be taken back by the NFL and given back pay. That's just not how the contracts work...
Hostin "insisted that Kaepernick, an outspoken racial equality advocate, should receive a Nobel Peace Prize.
"I think he's not only owed an apology Whoopi," she replied. "I think he's owed his job. I think he's owed back pay. I think he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. I think what is fascinating about it is when you listen to Roger Goodell's mea culpa, he mentions everything. He says we are wrong. We should have listened. Athletes in the league are now allowed to take a knee. We support peaceful protests. He mentions every single thing except the name of the man who started this peaceful protest."
"Taking the knee has become the symbol of these protests. We see it just all over the country," she stated. "We see it actually internationally now. I think it's shameful that people were allowed to co-opt that movement and make it about the flag and make it something it was never about. It really is just shameful. I'm sort of shocked that Roger Goodell never mentioned his name."
Watch The Clip Below.
"The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to United States President Barack Obama for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people". The Norwegian Nobel Committee announced the award on October 9, 2009, citing Obama's promotion of nuclear nonproliferation and a "new climate" in international relations fostered by Obama, especially in reaching out to the Muslim world."
So it just goes to show you that they are practically giving these things away. I would not be surprised if they decided to award Colin Kaepernick and seeing how Goodell's had a change of heart when it comes to protesting, they may even take the kneeler back into the NFL. Nike contract, possible Nobel Peace Prize...It looks like disrespecting the flag is really paying off for Kaepernick, which is truly sad.
