"The View" Host Claims BLM Violence Is Trump Supported Propaganda
Only a far-left liberal like Sonny Hostin could come up with some B.S. like this. Hostin, who has apparently been living on a different planet, claims that it is right-wing propaganda that BLM has been violent. Those looted, assaulted, and vandalized I guess are just part of a gigantic conspiracy to make BLM look bad... Hostin made this ridiculous claim during an episode of "The View" lying to her highly biased audience about what has been going on with our country.
"You know, my understanding is that according to a new Fox News poll, more voters classified BLM unrest as riots rather than protests. And that is scary because it’s feeding into the narrative that the Trump campaign has been putting out there. If you really look at the facts, 93%, 93% of protests are nonviolent, nonviolent. And, in fact, when Trump has put in force, has put in federal enforcement, out of those 93%, the violence ratchets up, right."
“So more than 5% of the protests actually that are linked to the Black Lives Matter movement was met by force by authorities compared to 1% of other sorts of demonstrations like COVID protests or protests about being unhappy about not being able to, you know, go to the barbershop. So this is manufactured by the Trump campaign. I just wish that people understood that and knew that, and just looked up the real facts about protests in this country.”
So we shouldn't worry about BLM protests because it's only, according to Hostin, 7% that are violent? So it's propaganda to get angry that 7% of a large group is getting violent and attacking Americans... Is this a new standard I am not aware of? Are we now saying that crime is ok as long as it's only 7% of a population? Or is it that it's only ok for BLM to commit crimes now?
