Site Claims AOC Will Save Dems With A 2024 Run, No Joke

Ever go surfing on the web and suddenly find yourself in strange new places? That’s exactly what I was up to when I stumbled across a site called “19fourtyfive” which has some fairly decent contributors, like James Antle from Washington Examiner and James Carafano from the Heritage Foundation.

I half-heartedly expected the site to be somewhat centered and boy, was I wrong.

In an article titled “AOC Running For President In 2024? Here’s Why It Could Happen”, the writer fretted over the inevitable doom Democrats face going into the midterm elections. They also cited Biden’s 33% approval rating and how his failures were bringing the entire party down but the author of the piece offered liberals a glimmer of hope in the way of radical rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez:

The liberal Squad leader is young, but she will turn 35 shortly before the 2024 presidential election. The Democratic Party’s gerontocracy could be a reason for the slippage with the youths. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and House Majority Whip James Clyburn are all over 80; Biden will celebrate his 80th birthday shortly after the midterms this year.

Ocasio-Cortez is also Hispanic. She has been outspoken about what considers the party’s “really disgraceful” lack of Latino representation in leadership. There’s an obvious way for her to help rectify the problem.”

So, she’s young and Hispanic? Seriously, is that all it takes now day?

The site went on to tout AOC’s ‘likeability’ and explained that she knows how to create viral videos but questioned if she could actually handle a presidential run and the press coverage that would follow:

“While Ocasio-Cortez is adept at creating viral moments, it’s not clear how she would do under serious media scrutiny. Up until now, she has mostly gotten flattering press outside of conservative publications. That would change if she took on Biden.”

I’m mainly sharing this ‘hot new concept’ with you because it gave me a laugh and I hope it does you as well. AOC might appeal to some voters but they’re few and fall under the category of ‘extreme-leftests’. Times are rapidly changing as the core of America stands up to the extreme ideologies that politicians, like AOC, represent.

Al Gore, who has failed this mission more times than most, has better odds at landing the opportunity to run for president—Much less actually winning a presidential election.

And on that note; I hope she goes for it.

Knock yourself out, kid.
