If you watch all of the ridiculous gaffes and blunders Biden has done just during this campaign you have to question his state of mind. Biden was practically hiding in his basement for 80 days during the pandemic, while Trump remained in the public eye. Biden’s campaign manager Symone Sanders claimed that Biden was just trying to abide by the CDC’s guidelines and was only doing virtual interviews. But when FOX’s Chris Wallace asked Sanders where was the national coverage even virtually, Sanders weakly claimed they were focusing on local news. Biden recently came out of hiding and claimed he wants to compare his cognitive ability to Trump’s. But some libs it appears are trying to give him an out. I guess they don’t want to see Trump wipe the floor with the former VP. New York Times writer Thomas L. Friedman claims Biden should not debate Trump unless he does two things: hand over his tax returns and have a fact-checker present. Senator Cruz saw this and mocked the writer for clearly trying to shield Biden from a debate.
“On Tuesday, The New York Times published an opinion piece by veteran Times writer Thomas L. Friedman titled, “Biden Should Not Debate Trump Unless.” In the piece, Friedman stated that two conditions should be the prerequisite for any debate between President Trump and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden: Trump releasing his tax returns for 2016 though 2018 and that a “real-time fact-checking team approved by both candidates be hired by the nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates” should deliver a report 10 minutes before the debates end noting any “misleading statements, phony numbers or outright lies” either candidate had offered.”
Cruz saw this and responded on Twitter.
“Biden’s two conditions: (1) the debate must occur in his basement, and (2) it cannot be televised or broadcast to anyone in America.”
Friedman could honestly be thinking that Biden could take Trump in a debate, but I doubt it. Anyone that has seen Biden in action during this campaign and backs Biden, must be worried about that upcoming confrontation. Is Biden going to know that his name is not Obiden Obama? Is he going to know that he is running for president and not Senate? The more you watch Biden in this race the more it seems like elder abuse. But maybe after the debate Dems will accept that they picked a dud.
