MSM Reporter: We Shouldn’t “Sugar Coat” Raid On Capitol, Downplayed BLM Riots

The MSM is once again distorting the truth and unfortunately, they have now convinced some GOP members. There is some pretty clear evidence of the media blowing this whole Capitol Hill Raid out of proportion especially in comparison to how they covered the Floyd riots this past summer. MSNBC’s Ali Velshi was standing in front of burning buildings during a Floyd riot in Minneapolis and somehow that was less violent and chaotic…

Velshi on the Minneapolis riots:

“I wanna be clear on how I characterize this,” said Velshi, reporting live from Minneapolis. “This is mostly a protest, it is not, it is not, generally speaking, unruly.”

“But fires have been started and this crowd is relishing that,” he told MSNBC anchor Brian Williams.

“There is a deep sense of grievance and complaint here, and that is the thing,” added Velshi. “That when you discount people who are doing things to public property that they shouldn’t be doing, it does have to be understood that this city has got, for the last several years, an issue with police, and it’s got a real sense of the deep sense of grievance of inequality.”

Velshi on Capitol Raid:

“TRUMP INCITES MOB” is the headline of this morning’s New York Times.

Any journalist who sugar-coats their language or normalizes what has happened today isn’t doing their job.

Our job is to bear witness & tell the truth: Trump is attempting a coup, and inciting violence.”

Love the double standard here…Anyone that watched this incident live would know that this was not a coup attempt. Trump did not tell anyone to attack the U.S. Capitol Building. He simply told supporters to go and cheer on Senators Perdue and Loeffler as the GOP needed them to keep the majority in the Senate. But Antifa turned the harmless rally into something else. But the MSM is not interested in the truth. They just like the current narrative where Trump might get impeached/removed just days before he is supposed to leave Office.
