There are protests all across the country some more violent than others. These protests are over the death of George Floyd and the response to it. Pelosi and Water are of course taking this opportunity to come after the president as they never seem to let a tragedy go to waste.
Rep Maxine Waters claims Trump’s actions have somehow made police “nastier.” She said as much during an interview on MSNBC.
“This president has certainly been responsible for dog-whistling for much of that constituency that empowers him and tells them get tough and he tells police officers to be rough on those that they arrest. He has basically undermined John Lewis, one of our civil rights leaders in Congress, and talking about his district by basically saying we live in rat holes. He has disparaged blacks in so many ways.”
“All that stuff about loving blacks is so disingenuous. Nobody believes that. He’s such a liar. He cannot be trusted. And yes, I think he has emboldened those who are racist. He’s emboldened police officers to be nastier, tough, to do things like the chokehold. I believe all of that.”
Pelosi also bashed Trump claiming he was adding fuel to the fire when it comes to these protests.
“The president of the United States should bring dignity to the office he serves. He should be a unifying force in our country. We have seen that with Democratic and Republican presidents all along. They have seen their responsibility to be the president of the United States to unify our country. And not to fuel the flame, not to fuel the flame.”
“And I think to take his bait time and time again is just a gift to him because he always wants to divert attention from the cause of response was rather than describe it in his own terms.”
But Trump is not against Americans, He even explained that he is for peaceful protest as it is the right of every American.

Nowhere does he say he is for violence as Waters believes and he even talks about Americans coming together to make a more just society, which is a pretty unifying statement… These Dems are just trying to demonize the president as per usual.
Well, Donald Trump really did say ”there are very good people on both sides”—when one of those sides was mainly nazis and white supremacists.
WRONG ANSWER, There you go spouting the false narrative of the left again. He specifically noted there were people on both sides of the issue of whether or not the Statue of General Robert E. Lee should be removed, who were peacefully protesting. Not every person who was against is’s removal was a white supremacist. The left accused them of such, but that doesn’t make it so. It was the agitators — both white supremacists AND the little fascists of antifa who showed up and cause trouble. The actual number of “white supremacists” was very small. The number of left wing progressive thugs was large and they felt emboldened to act. The best thing would have been for NO ONE to show up to the protests against the statue being removed. That way just a handful of racists would have been there with no audience. They would have marched a little, then gone away, and no conflageration would have occurred. Instead, the ANTIFA punks started attacking them, and things spiraled out of control. And we can blame the mayor for this because he ordered police to stand back and do nothing.
Trump NEVER claimed white supremacists were good people. That was the left wing media selectively editing his comments, and cutting out the rest of the sentence, which made clear the he was simply referring to those who were peacefully protesting the removal of the statue. But that doesn’t support the left’s narrative, so the lies continue.
No not true, Trump was referring to the people who were protesting the destruction of all the historic monuments in that area. They had a permit for a small peaceful protest, which was hijacked by violent BLM people and others who did not have a permit to be there. Trump has never supported Nazis and White Supremacists, just as he does not support the Democrat KKK or ANTIFA groups
The other side were communists and terrorists.
And so the latest urban myth begins – she specifically stated “choke hold’ – NOPE – didn’t happen and the coroner has verified that. Any bets that the ‘choke-hold’ WILL become the ‘rallying’ cry as the story assumes cult status? And of course he had his hands up as well.
