Kaepernick's Nike Shoes Sell Out Faster Than He Can Kneel
Nike made the bold move to back Kapernick after he chose to repeatedly disrespect the flag and practically kill the NFL in the process. But I guess he had quite a few followers. He recently worked with Nike on a shoe that celebrates the day that he decided to kneel for the National Anthem and surprisingly they sold out in minutes.
"A sneaker bearing the likeness of former NFL player Colin Kaepernick proved an instant hit among Nike customers, selling out not long after the company announced Monday that it was available for sale.
The Air Force 1 x Colin Kaepernick is no longer available after its release Monday in North America at Nike stores, select retailers and SNKRS, Nike said, declining to release sales figures.
The sneaker's graphics include a portrait of Kaepernick, the former NFL player considered controversial in some sports quarters and a hero in others, especially among Nike's younger customer base.
Check out the shoe below.

"The sneaker has a not-so-subtle message with the date "08 14 16" on the sole of the right shoe. A Nike spokesman confirmed to CNN the placement of the date on the sole.
"In a statement, Nike said that they collaborated with Kapernick to create a design that "connects" to his "life personality.""This Air Force 1 season, Nike partnered with a collective of collaborators to design an AF1 that connects to their life personally," the statement, obtained by CBS, read. "Colin was identified because we believe his voice and perspective inspire many generations on and off the field."
This is ridiculous how can people want a shoe that symbolizes disrespecting the flag? This shoe is celebrating the fact that Kapernick refused to respect America and the people that fought under our flag. You'd think that even liberals wouldn't want to encourage this. But Nike has just shown us how little some Americans care about old glory or patriotism
