The Senate is working to put an end to Pelosi’s stall tactics. The Senators, like the rest of us, want to be done with this unfounded impeachment attempt. Senator Lindsey Graham has put together a resolution that would force Pelosi to hand the articles of impeachment over right away and if that doesn’t work there is also another resolution planned that sets a 25-day time limit, where if it is not met the Senate can vote to dismiss the impeachment altogether.
“It is our job as Senators to dispose of the articles that were lawfully passed. The Speaker’s attempt to shape or delay the trial is unprecedented. It cannot stand,” Graham said in a statement. “What the Speaker has been doing is inconsistent with the Constitution and unfair to the President and the American people.”
“The resolution would throw the Senate’s support behind calling on Pelosi to “immediately appoint impeachment managers and transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate for disposition consistent with the Constitution of the United States.”
It characterizes her decision to delay the articles as a “gross infringement on the constitutional authority of the Senate,” while calling it “unprecedented for presidential impeachments” and a move that “is resulting in the denial of President Trump’s day in court.”
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is among the two dozen Republicans who are supporting the resolution, though the GOP leader has not indicated it will get a vote.”
Senator McConnell also “signed onto Sen. Josh Hawley’s (R-MO) resolution to change the Senate’s rules which would allow the Senate to vote to dismiss Democrats’ articles of impeachment if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has not submitted the articles of impeachment within the next 25 days.
So it looks like Pelosi is going to be forced to pass the articles on to the Senate, unless she wants to let the Senate vote on dismissing the case without ever seeing it. That would be a fine end to this. The House Dems all triggered that their impeachment attempt didn’t even reach the Senate despite their rush to vote on it.
Trump is exonerated forever! Trump is acquitted forever! Now let us work hard to eliminate the leftist Democrat majority in the House so Pelosi loses her huge suite of offices and huge staff and is force-ably retired.

Never forget that the House and Senate together hold the nation’s purse string for bills committing funds and appropriations that provide the actual money. And the only ‘stall’ in this process is by Republican Senate Majority Leader McConnell holding hundreds of bills from committee hearings, including purse strings. Keep it straight and truthful. The delays are all on the Republican side.
