Now that the pandemic appears to be spiking, Dems are going overboard with their restrictions and moving towards full lockdowns again. California’s Gov Newsom has set forth a three-week semi-lockdown with heavy restrictions for business owners and anyone trying to gather with people outside of their families, unless you are protesting, or attending church. But like many Dem leaders, Newsom started to infringe upon the rights on Thanksgiving. He didn’t want people gathering for the family holiday. The San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo echoed the Governor and also asked his nearly 1 million residents to refrain from spending time with family to prevent the spread of COVID. So it’s only natural that the rules wouldn’t apply to him. Liccardo had dinner with his family and guests of course.
Liccardo even went as far as to tweet out about safety before his gathering.
“Cases are spiking, in part because we’re letting our guard (and masks) down with family & friends. Let’s cancel the big gatherings this year and focus on keeping each other safe.”
But I guess gatherings are only meant for government officials and their families…
“The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit has learned Liccardo celebrated with his elderly parents at their Saratoga home with an unknown number of other guests,” KNTV reported.

“While the mayor’s staff did confirm the dinner took place, they have not disclosed how many other people attended, how many different households were present, and whether any of those in attendance wore masks while not eating.”

But this is nothing new. Gov Gavin Newsom, Mayor DeBlasio, and even Nancy Pelosi have all made hypocritical statements like this. This is just what Dems do, yell the sky is falling and then go out and get their hair done. Because they think they are better than other Americans and it seems they think we are all too stupid to stay home when we get sick.
