BLM and liberals always make claims about how they are all about equality. Libs constantly argue they are for minorities or the little guy. But these demands for inclusion are leading to exclusion. A new San Francisco program is set to pay pregnant women $1000k a month with hopes of expanding out two years postpartum. But there’s a catch you can’t be white, heck you can’t even be Hispanic or Asian. The only people who could benefit from this program are black women and pacific islanders. Got to love the equality on this one…

Mayor London Breed on Monday introduced the Abundant Birth Project, which will give a basic income supplement to 150 Black and Pacific Islander women during pregnancy. ”

Providing guaranteed income support to mothers during pregnancy is an innovative and equitable approach that will ease some of the financial stress that all too often keeps women from being able to put their health first,” Breed said in a statement. “The Abundant Birth Project is rooted in racial justice and recognizes that Black and Pacific Islander mothers suffer disparate health impacts, in part because of the persistent wealth and income gap.”

Black women have the highest rate of preterm birth, which is when a baby is born too early — before 37 weeks of pregnancy, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention…”

Experts say racial discrimination in delivery rooms and the legacy of racial inequality, including mass incarceration and inequitable neighborhoods, were all contributing factors, according to The Guardian.”

“…The city is limiting the monies to only 150 black and Pacific Islander women who, the city said, have been on the wrong side of a “longstanding racial gap in birthing outcomes,” the Herald said.”

I get what the mayor is trying to do here in helping the unborn babies, but if this program had been White and Asian only, there would likely be rioting in the streets. There are plenty of poor pregnant women of all races, they should all have a chance to participate in this kind of program. But that would be fair…
