With Eight Simple Words, One Proud Dad Shut Down A School That Was Teaching His Kids Islam…

Parents are protesting what they see as the indoctrination of their children in Islam in public schools from coast to coast.

Now, a furious father in San Diego confronted the city’s school board about its collaboration with the contentious Council on American-Islamic Relations in a so-called “anti-Islamophobia” plan that includes teaching students about Islam.

According to a report, the San Diego Unified School District has formed a partnership with CAIR in order to “combat Islamophobia and bullying of Muslim students.” And after knowing parents are now protesting, with one father, Christopher Wyrick who challenged the San Diego school board at a board meeting in late April on the program’s Islamic instruction and its connection to the Islamic organization.

Clarifying the program amid confusion from parents, Trustee Kevin Beiser spoke at the board meeting, he said, “We will not allow Muslim students in San Diego schools to be spit on.”

One parent agreed to say, “All students should be safe.”

However, parent Wyrick expresses his concerns in a direct manner, seeming angered by the program. Over the years, Wyrick said he has held “many titles,” but “one of them I will not accept is “infidel,” he told the board.

The father began his speech to the school board by saying:

“My name’s Christopher Wyrick, I’m a resident of San Diego. I’m a taxpayer, a father, a husband, and a very, very proud American. Over the years, I’ve had many titles. One of them I will not accept is infidel.

There has been an argument over the years to keep religious beliefs out of schools, especially any that happen to be associated with Judaism or Christianity. So at what point did you decide that it was OK to teach my children about Islam?”

The dad went on demand that the school board takes the same stance on Islam that it has with other religions. When a buzzer indicated that his speaking time had expired, the dad ignored it and pressed on.

Wyrick told the school board that it “amazes” him that they teamed up with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to “implement a pro-Islam curriculum.”

“What’s next? Teaching them about the five pillars or the conversion prayer?” he asked.

That’s when a board member cut him off in a gesture meant to end Wyrick’s speech.

“OK, thank you very much,” the board member said tersely.

But he wasn’t done.

“Oh, dude, I’m going to go. You’re going to have to drag me out of here,” the father shot back.

A lot of people praised Wyrick and criticized the school for utilizing its anti-bullying program to do what they believed to be promoting Islam as the story immediately went viral. The anti-Islamophobia campaign was frequently compared to the implementation of sharia law in the school system critics.

One reader commented on the site’s Facebook page that said, “Keep after them Mr. Wyrick.”

“The organization CAIR is a front for the Muslim brotherhood and every member of CAIR is a member of The Muslim Brotherhood and all of them are members of HAMAS.CAIR is pushing these Islam teachings nationwide and infiltrating the school. These teaching are actually FORCED Conversion to Islam and it is ILLEGAL. Everybody on the San Diego School Board should be fired ASAP.”

Another added, saying, “Good for you sir. I stand behind you 100%,”

“This crap doesn’t belong in America’s school systems. Can you even begin to imagine if we went to their Country and did not assimilate to their beliefs? This is America and we already have our beliefs and if you don’t like it, then you shouldn’t be living in this Country. You knew what this Country was long before you came here.”

“If Christians tried to enact this…all HELL would break loose,” another wrote.

“Parents wake up and get involved and stop this evil from happening before it’s too late. We the people are responsible for what’s taking place in our country and we the parents need to take back our schools!”
