Demi Moore is not letting her furry friend behind! The iconic actress, who recently unveiled her new swimwear collection, posing poolside in her own designs, is currently sightseeing in Paris and has taken her adorable dog with her, possibly breaking the rules during her visit to one of the most famous museums in the world.
People on the internet have blasted Demi Moore after she took her dog, Pilaf, for a tour of the world-famous Louvre museum despite the rule that bans animals inside the iconic Paris landmark. The 59-year-old ‘Striptease’ actress recently visited the museum and also posed in front of the iconic Mona Lisa painting with her pet.
She got herself clicked with Pilaf inside her blouse alongside other statues too. Moore shared the pictures on her Instagram account on Wednesday, July 13, with a caption that read: “Pilaf takes the Louvre.” The photos did not feature any other person, giving birth to speculations that she might have been on a private tour. However, it did not control the frustration of online critics as the museum’s website clearly bans “all animals, with the exception of guide dogs or assistance dogs accompanying persons with motor or mental impairment.”
Moore was all smiles while walking around the museum, showing different art pieces and statues, while Pilaf showed his little face from inside her shirt. The actress even took a photo of her dog, while they both admired Leonardo Da Vinci’s painting, the Mona Lisa. Later holding Pilaf in front of the famous painting.
Apparently, Moore snuck her dog into the museum by having the small animals nestled in her blouse. Moore shared additional photos of herself and her dog, Pilaf, as they explored the museum and made the most of their day in Paris. Because no one else was featured in Moore’s photos, many people speculated that she might have had a somewhat private viewing of the world-famous museum and its art.
Fans of the actress were shocked to see the small dog in her photos. One person asked, “A dog in the best museum?” while someone else commented, “How on earth are you allowed to bring a dog into the Louvre?”
Moore is known for taking Pilaf everywhere, recently sharing some photos and videos of attending the 2022 French Open with her dog on her lap.
“Pilaf takes the Louvre,” Moore wrote alongside the image of herself with her dog inside the Louvre to her 2.9 million Instagram followers.
The defiance of the rules set by such a famous institution has been seen by social media commentators as a form of entitlement demonstrated by the Hollywood star.
While museums are reportedly more dog-friendly in the United States, European institutions – particularly the Louvre – have strict rules that are observed by its visitors.
