Here’s a new one for you. Apparently cleaning graffiti off of buildings is a “white privilege.” I didn’t realize cleaning could have such racial undertones… Three D.C. ladies decided to clean the graffiti off of a federal building as they wanted to keep their area nice. It was a voluntary community service that they were performing. But a woman driving by saw this and was triggered. She was upset because they were taking down Black Lives Matter tags. So because it’s black lives matter the vandalism of a building is somehow ok?
“While they are working to clean the building, a woman, identified as “Faith Alice Sleeper” on Facebook, rolls up in a vehicle to lecture them about their supposed “white privilege.”
“Why are you guys removing ‘Black Lives Matter’ graffiti?” Alice asks the girls, videotaping the interaction from her vehicle.
“We’re just trying to take care of the city,” one of the girls responds. “We tried over there,” another girl told her questioner, “and it wasn’t coming off.”
“Why do you want that to come off?” Alice asked.
“Because it’s a federal building and we care about our county and our city,” one of the girls told her.
Alice responded combatively, “So you don’t care about black lives, then?”
“Not at all, that’s not at all what we’re saying,” the girls answered. “We certainly do care about black lives.”
“Not enough to leave up a message,” the woman said back.
“We don’t disagree with the massage, ma’am,” one of the girls said, “it’s just on the building; we’re just trying to clean it.”
“Right,” Alice answered angrily. “Not a great way to use your white privilege, ladies! Not a great — that’s disgusting.”

Graffiti is vandalism plain and simple. It doesn’t matter what someone writes up there if it is not sanctioned by the city then it doesn’t belong. These ladies are doing their community a great service and should be praised for it. This black lives matter sympathizer in the car should be ashamed of herself, she obviously has no respect for her community and it’s welfare. There is nothing racist about taking the time to scrub down the side of a building to remove an act of vandalism.

Ya gotta wonder how loud ‘Alice’ would be screaming if that motto was sprayed on her house – along with a few windows smashed to amplify the message. If she had the least bit of REAL concern for her community – and ALL of the residents she would have gotten her oh so high and mighty hind end out of her car and helped those girls.
