U.S. Army Caught Protecting ‘Foreign Invaders’ at NYC Hotel

An intense altercation broke out outside the Wolcott Hotel in New York City when a citizen journalist spotted U.S. Army personnel on the premises once again.

Last week, Jason Goodman, a citizen journalist and founder of Crowdsource the Truth, filmed a video showing the presence of U.S. Army personnel at The Wolcott Hotel in New York City. The hotel has been converted into a controversial mega-shelter for migrants.

The historic Wolcott Hotel on West 31st Street closed to regular guests in 2023 due to the ongoing migrant crisis and concerns about the COVID-19 Delta variant, as reported by the New York Post.

In Goodman’s footage, he can be heard confronting the soldiers and questioning their presence, asking, “Is the army turning this thing into a migrant shelter? Why are you guys here? It’s a hotel. Why is the army at this hotel?”

Tensions rose when one soldier bluntly responded, “We’re here at the request of the State of New York.”

Goodman later returned to find that the military personnel had left the premises.

However, upon Goodman’s return, he discovered that military personnel had once again been stationed there. He approached one of the soldiers, named Rodriguez, and demanded to know who their commanding officer was.

When Rodriguez refused to respond and walked away, Goodman invoked the Posse Comitatus Act, alleging that the military was violating the law by engaging in what he interpreted as civilian law enforcement activities.

The Posse Comitatus Act prohibits the use of federal military personnel for enforcing domestic policies unless specifically authorized by Congress or the Constitution.

Although National Guard members reporting to their state governor are typically exempt, Goodman was concerned about whether this deployment had overstepped legal boundaries.

Goodman entered the hotel and insisted on speaking with the commanding officer. A staff member wearing a NAICA (Neighborhood Association for Inter-Cultural Affairs) t-shirt confronted him and threatened to call the police.

Undeterred, Goodman maintained that the police should be summoned to address what he saw as a clear violation of constitutional rights.

“Call the cops. Call them now. I want to know who is in charge,” Goodman insisted. “We’ve got the military protecting foreign invaders. Three out of four arrests by the NYPD are being made by these people,” he added.

  1. I want to know who it is behind the current orders, because Joe’s at the beach, and Kamala flying around saying NOTHING.
Is Obama leading the ‘pack’, and does he have Joe and Kamala in his pocket? Is Obama the “Communist from Kenya” trying to criminalize our U.S. Military like Commie Leaders have done in other countries for years?!
Is Obama the one who sent Joe to the beach, and using Kamala and Walz to sway HIS commie agenda?!

  2. Are they U.S. Army or State National Guard? If Army, their presence is in violation of Posse Comitatus. If National Guard, it is not. A Governor has the right to call out the National Guard (otherwise known as the Militia) for various causes, usually emergency ones (like hurricanes, floods, widespread civil unrest) that the Army can not legally interfere in unless Marshall law has been declared.

  3. Boy, that’s some insightful journalism. (NOT) One is in a Marine uniform. A Lance Corporal. It’s easy to tell, since it says “U S MARINES” on the pocket.
