Twitter Users Knock Gov. Cuomo Down A Peg After He Tries To Blame Trump

The Pandemic has been tough on everyone. Lockdowns have killed many small businesses, kids can no longer see their friends at school, and we have lost many Americans to this Chinese virus. New York had it worst, so far, they had the highest number of deaths and cases, which was largely due to Governor Cuomo’s incompetence. But he feels it is not his fault at all. During an interview, with MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace, Cuomo had the gall to claim it was actually Trump and the Federal Government to blame for his gross negligence. Twitter users were quick to remind him otherwise.

This state, I’m very proud of what New Yorkers have done, because they have rallied. We were ambushed like no other state, Nicolle, and again, it was from federal incompetence,” Cuomo told Wallace.

“Incompetent government kills people. More people died than needed to die in COVID. That’s the truth.”

According to the Associated Press, there were 6,600 deaths at nursing home properties in New York State.”

Fox News noted New York state came under intense criticism for its March 2020 decision to issue a directive that required nursing homes to accept COVID-positive patients released from hospitals. The directive was reversed in May.”

“I wonder if @NYGovCuomowill one day remember all the seniors he helped kill in New York,” Janice Dean, who had family die because of these bad decisions, said.

“Why don’t we call it like it is. He murdered them. And to answer your question, no he will not. He will make every effort to place the blame elsewhere,” another user replied.

“Dr. Phil has been saying for decades that you can’t change what you don’t acknowledge. Think this ones ego and elite backing will ensure he doesn’t have to assume accountability. They gave him an Emmy for Fuchs sake. That’s expert level denial,” a user pointed out.

Gov Cuomo knows what he did, he just wants to pretend like he doesn’t. He is hoping he can rewrite history by just ignoring it. But no one is going to be giving him a pass. He practically killed the people in nursing homes himself with his reckless order to house infected with the elderly.
