Trump is calling out Bloomberg for buying his way into this election, and claims he would rather run against the former New York Mayor since he doesn’t have any real supporters like Sanders does. But Trump was not done there as he also feels Bloomberg was full of it when he apologized for 12 years of pushing “stop and frisk.”
“Frankly, I would rather run against Bloomberg than Bernie Sanders,” he told reporters, “because Sanders has real followers, whether you like them or not, whether you agree with them or not — I happen to think it’s terrible what [Sanders] says.”
He added: “Bloomberg is just buying his way in.”
“The charge that Bloomberg is buying the nomination has some merit, considering that he has skipped the early primary voting states by pouring millions upon millions of dollars into the Super Tuesday states, hoping to shore up the nomination in one fell swoop rather than a long a march. Thus far, he has not even appeared in a single Democratic Party presidential debate, though that could change as early as next week due to Democratic National Committee’s sudden decision to eliminate its grassroots fundraising requirements.
Should Bloomberg finally make an appearance, President Trump says that the former mayor will sink, calling him “one of the worst debaters I’ve ever seen.”
“His presence is zero. He will spend his three, four, $500 million,” said Trump. “We will find out what happens.”
Trump also blasted Bloomberg for suddenly apologizing for his support of stop-and-frisk, calling it “disingenuous.”
“I support anything that we can do to get down crime and get rid of drugs,” Trump told reporters. “I think when a man is with stop-and-frisk his whole life, and then he decides to go Democrat, and he goes to a church, and he is practically crying — he looked like hell — he is practically crying, saying what a horrible thing he did. I think that’s so disingenuous.”
Bloomberg pushed the “Stop and Frisk” policy for about 12 years and if you watch his videos he was pushing for police to arrest minorities more often. That’s 12 years of terror if you are a minority, and now he thinks a quick apology is going to smooth things over? Trump is right here, there is no going back on that now. It just makes him look like he is trying to pander to the very minorities that he persecuted.
The last sentence above is totally correct. Bloomberg is a total jerk.
Bloomberg is Clueless. 1st an Independent, Then a Republican Now he is an apologist Demon-rat apologizing for his racist crimes against Minorities What a freaking Liar.
