The first presidential debate was by no means boring as Trump and Biden were constantly exchanging barbs. But during the debate, which Wallace struggled to keep control of, Trump coerced Biden into answering some questions liberals are already upset about.
The clip shows Trump badgering Biden into admitting that he is not for the “radical new green deal.”
Trump talks about how Biden is for the radical Green New Deal that is going to cost Americans $100 Trillion, not the supposed $20 Billion that Biden was claiming. Trump then goes on to talk about how Biden called the military “stupid B*stards” which was caught on video. Biden shrugs it off telling Trump to play it as if is not real… Wallace then regains control and gives Biden a chance to clarify where he stands on The Green New Deal.
“The Green New Deal will pay for itself as we move forward,” Biden said. “We’re not gonna build plants that are, in fact, great polluting plants…”
“Do you support the Green New Deal?” interrupted moderator Chris Wallace.
“No, I don’t support the Green New Deal,” Biden said.
“Oh you don’t? Well, that’s a big statement!” Trump said. “That means you just lost the radical left! Gone!”
“I support the Biden plan that I put forward. The Biden plan, which is different than what he calls the radical Green New Deal,” Biden said.

Libs were not happy at all and immediately said as much on Twitter. The Hill’s Crystal Ball bashed Biden agreeing with Trump that he had lost some Left voters.
“Oh good I was worried that the left wouldn’t get trashed any more in the debate but just in time, let’s all shred the green new deal! Giving young voters and progressives lots of reasons to vote.”
AOC also chimed in attacking Republicans for the $100 Trillion estimate.
“When Republicans talk about the Green New Deal being 100 trillion dollars, please know they‘re doing that Dr. Evil thing where they shout random, escalating numbers to sound ominous.

Estimates for The Green New Deal are all over, it all depends on who is talking. The American Action Forum estimates anywhere from $50 trillion to $93 Trillion. But some Libs think it could be far less.
This revelation is not going to do Biden any favors with his base. I think the most amazing thing was not even anything anyone said during this debate. It was how Biden suddenly came back to life. I don’t know what kind of miracle drug they put the former V.P. on, but they need to share that secret with other old-timers that are struggling to remember their names. Next time Trump needs to push for that drug test because Biden’s campaign is hiding a miracle elixir.
