During the second night of debates from the Democrats, nothing special happened.
It really didn’t, these debates are severely lacking. It’s like they’re competing to see who can say the dumbest thing.
Wednesday night’s award went to Beto O’Rourke for speaking Spanish at an inappropriate time as a way to help use the clock to his advantage and dodge a question.
Thursday’s award is going to go to Joe Biden.
One quote from Biden sticks out like a green hat with an orange bill.
Biden said, “I’m willing to lead this country because I think it’s important we restore the soul of this nation. This president has ripped it out. He’s the only president in our history who’s equated racists and white supremacists with ordinary and decent people. He’s the only president who’s engaged and embraced dictators and thumbed their nose at our allies.”
If anyone believes this garbage, they’re what’s wrong with America.
First of all, the only thing soulless in this nation are the Democrats who are advocating for abortion. He should rethink what’s really being ripped out.
Secondly, Biden said he’s equating racists and supremacists with ordinary and decent people? That’s blatantly false. He’s referring to saying that there were good people on both sides of a protest which turned violent.
This is huge lie. When Biden brought it up the first time, Trump responded, saying “If you look at what I said, you will see that that question was answered perfectly. And I was talking about people that went because they felt very strongly about the monument to Robert E. Lee, a great general. Whether you like it or not, he was one of the great generals.”
Trump wasn’t saying the people acting out in violence were good people, he was saying that people who were protesting both sides were good people. Not everyone resorted to violence.
Also, have we forgotten that it was the Democrats who was condemning President Trump for calling the violent MS-13 gang a bunch of animals? Democrats were actually defending them.
Finally, Biden said that President Trump is the only one who’s engaged and embraced dictators and thumbed their nose at our allies. Give me a break.
The relations between the United States and Israel, our greatest ally, was diminished greatly under the Obama administration. Also, do I really need to mention our relations with Iran during the Obama years?
