Sex Addict Who Slept With Over 700 Men Reveals Her Biggest Regret

A reformed sex addict slept with more than seven hundred men during the depths of her dangerous addiction. Although she found little joy in the act of having sex with random strangers, she often prowled the grocery store looking for people to hook up with. The woman, Belinda “Love” Rygier, hit rock bottom during one of her sexual encounters when her partner turned violent on her and threatened her life.

When she finally came to terms with the fact that she was a sex addict, she sought help and is now reformed. The former Bachelor contestant said that casual sex with random men put a strain on her real relationship because she would ditch her friends to go have sex with someone she had just met. Now, she teaches and assists other sex addicts through various empowerment “bootcamps” that she runs.

“I was never self-aware. The minute I was out, I was like, ‘Where’s a hot guy?’ Sex is the only addiction I fell for because it was making me feel loved. Love is really what I lacked in my life.”

In a conversation with Daily Mail Australia, Rygier explained that she hit rock bottom when a man she was sleeping with grew violent. However, she could not press charges against him because she “scratched” the man in self-defense during the incident.

“When he pushed me down the stairs and locked me in the garage, I had a black eye, and they thought my hand was broken,” she told the news source.

“It was pretty bad. I went to work, and they sent me home. The police came, and they said because he had a scratch on his arm from my ring, after I tried to get him off me, we could both go to jail for domestic violence.”

The violent episode made Rygier question her lifestyle. She also took a deeper look at the emotions driving her behavior and how she viewed love and sex.

“It was pretty bad. I went to work, and they sent me home. The police came, and they said because he had a scratch on his arm from my ring, after I tried to get him off me, we could both go to jail for domestic violence,” she added.

“That was my turning point. I thought, ‘I have to help myself.’ That’s where the journey began, and it was a very quick transformation. Once you decide [to change], it happens very quickly.”

Once she was on her journey to recover, Rygier began counseling other people and educating others about sex and sex addiction.

She said, “Having a coach that called me out and held me accountable made me dig deep. I didn’t even know I had sex addiction until I healed my trauma.”

Rygier’s biggest regret was being a “mistress” of married men. She found it thrilling that a man was “willing to ruin his marriage to be with me.”

“That is one thing I am not proud of,” she confessed. “When things are driving you so badly, you’re willing to hurt other people. That was probably my lowest point.”
