This is just another great example of political bias manipulating the truth. Trump sent in Federal officers to Chicago in order to quell the skyrocketing crime rate and rioting protesters. Mayor Lightfoot and Dems have been angry about the prospect of Trump sending in aid, they have been griping about how they would refuse it if offered. Congressman Bobby Rush (D-IL) agrees with LIghtfoot and didn’t want the aid. But he went far into left field to explain why he was refusing aid. Rush claims Trump is trying to instigate a race war and further claims Trump will eventually reveal he is the head of the KKK. And Rush is a public official…
“For Trump to talk about sending federal agents in Chicago — we won’t stand for it,” he continued. “I think what Trump is really trying to do, my friend, I think that Trump is really trying to instigate a race war. He wants to have a reaction.”
Rush explained that if the president were to send “armed agents” into certain parts of Chicago, such as the “hardcore Southside,” violence could break out.
“I’m not advocating that,” said Rush, who made clear that he doesn’t endorse an outbreak of violence. “I just know that that’s Trump’s game plan. Trump wants to instigate a race war.”
“He wants to have black folks fighting white folks so he can rise up and say ‘I’m the real Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, and I’m the president. Re-elect me.’ That’s what he’s trying to do,” said the congressman.”
You just can’t make this stuff up. It’s clearly time to retire Rush here who has lost his grip on reality. Trump is trying to help a city where the mayor has admitted they are in a state of lawlessness. Lightfoot has even claimed that if Biden were president she would expect that he would have already fixed Chicago for her because she is clearly not up to the task. So she has admitted she needs help. These Dems are whining because they don’t want to admit they need Trump’s help. But really they should be using every resource possible to help the people they are supposed to be serving.
