Liberals always seem so proud of their sanctuaries for illegals, but they forget they are not just protecting the non-violent criminals, they are also protecting rapists and murderers. But for some reason that doesn’t seem to bother them. Maryland’s Montgomery County is a sanctuary for illegals and therefore a thorn in ICE’s side. They foolishly thought they were being clever releasing Rene Ramos-Hernandez, a 56-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador.
Ramos-Hernandez “forced unwanted sexual intercourse” with a seven-year-old girl “at least ten times.” The alleged abuse occurred from 2002 until 2003 when he was in his late 30s.”
In 2017, the alleged victim, now 25, came forward to Montgomery County Police. In August 2018, detectives filed for an arrest warrant. It took nearly two years, but last month, police located Ramos-Hernandez. On June 18, he was booked at the Montgomery County Detention Center (MCDC) in Rockville on one count of sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of second-degree rape.
The following day, ICE’s Baltimore Field Office lodged a civil immigration detainer against Ramos-Hernandez, an undocumented immigrant from El Salvador. That same day, Montgomery County District Court Judge Zuberi Williams granted Ramos-Hernandez a $30,000 unsecured personal bond. Judge Williams tacked on a handful of restrictions, including electronic monitoring and curfew, plus ordered Ramos-Hernandez have no contact with minors.
On June 23, MCDC called ICE’s Law Enforcement Support Center in Vermont around 9:20 a.m. to report that the accused child rapist was processing out of jail and would likely be released within an hour. ICE believed it was not feasible to scramble agents to the jail in that timeframe. In turn, Ramos-Hernandez walked. He provided a residential address along the 3500 block of Upshur Street in Brentwood, Md. According to ICE, the 56-year-old remains at large.
Court records note that Ramos-Hernandez is divorced, has one child, and works as a “remodeler.” He faces up to 70 years in prison in the child rape case.”
How do Liberals justify this? A seven-year-old little girl now has to live with this trauma and we could have booted her attacker back to El Salvador at the very least. But instead, the judge actually allowed this monster to get back on the streets, and of course, he is in the wind now. Why would he stick around now that he is about to get 70 years in prison? He already had shown us what kind of person he is after he broke our laws just coming here.
