Putin Tries Forcing His Worthless Ruble In Gas Sales With Friendlier Countries

In a presser, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a new trade plan to force so-called ‘unfriendly countries’ to pay for fuel in the Russian Ruble. It’s a desperate move by a desperate man trying to increase the value of his country’s currency. Question is, what ‘unfriendly country’ are still trading with the blood-thirsty Putin?

Well… As it turns out, there are many but we’ll get back to that in just a minute. First, let’s look at his announcement. The translation is below:

Claus Vistesen, the chief eurozone economist at Pantheon Macroeconomics, said the action means that every time a Western country buys a barrel of oil it would be “propping up his domestic currency.”

Spengler columnist for Asia Times and PJ Media, David Goldman tweeted: “Russia demanded rubles for natural gas payments. Ruble rises 10% today against dollar. Russia is making $1 bn a day from oil and gas shipments.”

Gas prices in Europe also shot up:

Market expert, Holger Zschaepitz:Russia plans to demand #Ruble payments for natural gas purchases from European nations, deepening its standoff w/west and potentially aggravating Europe’s worst energy crunch since the 1970s. European gas prices surged >30% after the news.”

So who are the largest consumer? China, who is obviously not an ‘unfriendly country’, Germany, Netherlands, the united states, and Poland. The US has ‘seemingly’ cut ties with Russia, but have they? Most of which have all vowed to note pucharse from Russian until Putin withdraws from Ukraine.

Perhaps more disterbing than oil trade deals is Biden’s use of Russia n ihis Iran nuclear deal. Biden still uses Russia as a negotiater to jelp get the failed plan reinstated after President Trump ended its prediseor dea; form the Obbama White House.

How doe sthat makes sense?
