There’s no love lost between Donald Trump and Taylor Swift. The pop star showed that once again earlier this month, when she endorsed Kamala Harris in this year’s presidential election.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift wrote on Instagram after Harris’ debate against Trump.
“I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” she added.
Trump fired back in his typically blunt way, writing on Truth Social, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
Harris’ campaign then responded with a statement that was full of references to Swift’s music.
From NBC News:
“Donald Trump’s week of whining and spouting conspiracy theories has voters on both sides of the aisle ready to forget that he existed,” campaign spokesperson Sarafina Chitika said in the statement. “The American people want to be out of the woods of the chaos and division of the Trump era, leave behind the blank space of Trump’s broken promises, and begin again by electing Vice President Harris to ensure America’s future of opportunity is long lived.”
Now, video is going viral showing a pro-Trump man getting revenge on Swift in a truly epic way.
In the footage, a man spends $4,000 at a live auction on a guitar signed by Swift. He proceeds to smash it with a hammer, showing exactly what he thinks about the liberal singer!

Swift’s Impact On The Election
Sadly, it appears that Swift has more power in this election than you would think. If someone is really going to let a wealthy, liberal elite pop star dictate how they vote, perhaps they shouldn’t be voting in this election at all. However, it seems that Swift’s fans are so obsessed with her that many of them are indeed willing to vote for whoever she tells them to.
From Billboard:
After Swift encouraged young voters to register at Vote.gov following the Democratic National Convention, more than 405,000 people clicked through in strong example of Swift’s potential impact on the outcome in November, easily besting the site’s early September daily tally of 30,000 visitors.“This election will be decided by a few thousand votes in three or four key states, so everything matters,” says veteran pollster and communications analyst Frank Luntz. “Will this be the deciding factor? Probably not. But will it have an impact? Most definitely.”
No wonder Trump took Swift’s endorsement of Harris so poorly! With this election being as tight as it is, it’s horrifying to think that it could be decided by Swift’s endorsement.
While Swifties may be willing to vote for whoever Swift says, millions of other Americans have no intention of letting a wealthy singer who is hopelessly out of touch with reality dictate their vote. These voters feel the frustrations of the man in this video, which is why it’s no surprise that it is continuing to go viral.
Spending $4,000 on a guitar only to smash it may seem insane to some. If one has the money to spare, however, using it to send a brutal message to a smug liberal elite like Swift doesn’t seem like such a bad idea after all.
