Obamas Make Offer On MASSIVE House In Martha’s Vineyard

It looks like the Obamas may be moving out of Washington D.C.

Or maybe this is just going to be a vacation home. On the other hand, they may just own two homes and bounce back and forth between the two.

TMZ reported about the purchase:

The estate — incredible. It’s 29 beachfront acres. The main residence is just shy of 6,900 square feet. It has 7 bedrooms, so Sasha and Malia have a place to crash, along with several of their friends. It has the obligatory pool, an outdoor fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, vaulted ceilings and 2 guest wings. It has incredible views, especially while soaking in the second-floor balcony Jacuzzi.

The beachfront is private … and comes with a boathouse.

Downside — only a 2-car garage!!! Sorry kids.

The home is listed by a team of Realtors who absolutely dominate the area, Tom LeClair and Gerret Conover. As a Realtor myself, I know how much money could potentially be made from this home and we’re talking hundreds of thousands of dollars in commission.

The purchase does have contingencies so there is still a chance that it may fall through if you’re interested in getting a deal on some waterfront property in Martha’s Vineyard.

Can the Obama’s really afford such an expensive mansion, even if they’re getting it for less than $14 million? Let’s take a look at how much money they may actually have.

According to Fox News,

The former president, who had a net worth of about $40 million in 2018, teamed up with his wife to create a documentary that’s been labeled their “first big anti-Trump statement of 2020.”

The documentary focuses on a Chinese billionaire who opens a factory “in the husk” of an abandoned General Motors plant, hiring 2,000 blue-collar Americans.

Michelle Obama already received a $65 million book advance for her memoir, “Becoming,” while the pair also scored a $50 million deal with Netflix. According to the New York Post, Michelle Obama commands $225,000 in speaking fees and, with her husband, could now be worth as much as $135 million.
