Oh, man! Do you know what’s downright tragic? The border crisis under President Joe Biden is spinning out of control, and it’s getting so bad that even our northern border is seeing illegal aliens dying. I mean, come on! When will this administration take a real stand?
Just the other day, The New York Times reported that eight folks, including a tiny kiddo, were found dead in the St. Lawrence River. Officials say they were two families from Romania and some Indian nationals, trying to cross from Canada into the U.S. As Abram Benedict, the Grand Chief for the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, put it, “It is sad that people want to find a better life and this is the tragedy that results.”
This is happening while illegal immigration is hitting the roof at the northern border, and our southern border is like a sieve. Heck, border crossings in the fiscal year 2022 broke a record with 2.7 million! And it doesn’t look like things are gonna change anytime soon.
So, what do we need? REFORM! But let’s be real – under Biden, we’re probably not gonna get the kind of reform that’s actually gonna make a difference. What we need is a no-nonsense approach: come here illegally, and you’re gonna be sent back. No more dangling amnesty carrots or letting asylum seekers just waltz into the U.S. interior.
But, you know what? That’s not what’s happening. Instead, illegal aliens who ask for asylum are getting released into the U.S., and they know that under Biden, they’ve got a decent shot at staying. So, as long as that’s the name of the game, this crisis is just gonna keep getting worse, and we’ll see more heartbreaking stories like the one at the St. Lawrence River.

In short, folks, we’re in a real pickle here. We need some solid immigration reform that’s gonna keep things in check, but with this administration, it feels like we’re just spinning our wheels. So, buckle up, because until something changes, the border crisis is gonna keep on keeping on, and more innocent people will be caught in the crossfire.
