It looks like the NFL is showing us why they put up with Kaepernick for so long. It turns out they likely agreed with him as they are now looking for additional ways to make the sport more about race. The NFL is now in talks to give coaches who are minorities higher draft picks. So they are rewarding diversity hires.
“If a team hires a minority head coach, that team, in the draft preceding the coach’s second season, would move up six spots from where it is slotted to pick in the third round. A team would jump 10 spots under the same scenario for hiring a person of color as its primary football executive, a position more commonly known as general manager.
If a team were to fill both positions with diverse candidates in the same year, that club could jump 16 spots — six for the coach, 10 for the GM — and potentially move from the top of the third round to the middle of the second round. Another incentive: a team’s fourth-round pick would climb five spots in the draft preceding the coach’s or GM’s third year if he is still with the team. That is considered significant because Steve Wilks and Vance Joseph, two of the four African-American head coaches hired since 2017, were fired after one and two seasons, respectively.”
“Another potential rule change that the National Football League is reportedly exploring is that any team which “hires a person of color as its quarterbacks coach would receive a compensatory pick at the end of the fourth round if it retains that employee beyond one season.” The NFL notes that there are currently “only two African-American QB coaches in Pep Hamilton of the Chargers and Marcus Brady of the Colts.”
The league is also looking into awarding a fifth-round compensatory pick to any team that loses a minority assistant who then becomes a coordinator for another team.”
This measure has not passed yet but would definitely encourage the owners of teams to think about switching out coaches or GM’s in order to get better players. How is this fair to any white coach? Shouldn’t owners be picking their coaches or GM’s based on merit?

Institutionalized racism. The very thing they left complained about is what they are now instituting, only in reverse.
This is what’s happening in South Africa. They removed Aparteid — okay, fair enough — but have now come to the point that black politicians in their parliament are pursuing passing laws in which the government will seize all remaining white-owned lands and give said lands to blacks.
Now, I want you to think about this. Prior to the ousting of Aparteid, about three quarters of all farm lands were owned by the white minority. Since the turn over of power to blacks, this has reversed, with about 77% of all lands owned by blacks. Okay. But now there is a hard core Marxist lot in the country’s leadership who wants to strip all lands remaining in the hands of white people so that NO white will own any land in South Africa.
According to those supporting it, this is justified for past discrimination, but what this is, is precisely what we saw in Iraq when we ousted Saddam Hussein. Some Shia elements were not satisfied with wrestling control from the Sunni minority. They were bent on REVENGE, and took to the streets kidnapping, torturing and murdering Sunnis. They didn’t want equality. They wanted retribution in the form of violence and punishment.
While the violence is absent, politically this is the NFL’s approach of doing the same thing. It has nothing to do with equal “opportunity.” It’s all about an outcome, and their using racial discrimination to get it. And I guarantee, there will be no end to it. This will become the permanent political landscape.
Where non-whites have the advantage, no “restructuring” will be forthcoming. So, the NBA is 80% black, but blacks only make up 13% of the country’s population. So? See, they have the advantage so therefore that’s okay. They’re okay with the idea that they dominate. I don’t think many people disagree. Players are chosen based on their ability, and many blacks excel in sports, for whatever reason. Fair enough. But where they don’t necessarily excel, suddenly there’s an interjection of politics to control the outcome.
This will only get worse over time. It’s a institutionalized system of favoring non-white races over whites. In other words, retaliation. And we’ll never see the end of it. And the crime — retaliation is conducted by people who never suffered discrimination against people who never committed discrimination. It’s a case of punishment given to sons for ‘crimes of the fathers,’

I think they ought to give the teams with black coaches all the draft picks until they have reached their maximum amount of players before a white coach can even draft a player….just to “level the playing field” …you know…after all the black players/coaches have been discriminated for at least 150 years…even though teams have about 80% black players earning big bucks…..sound familiar?
Moves like this and the corona virus mandatory spacing of 6 feet will bankrupt the NFL within a year…..UNLESS the government steps in and bails them out with taxpayer’s monies…

First off I am NOT A SPORTS fan. When does the Affirmative Action and Preferential Treatment End. I thought the Left was all about EEEEEEEEquality. This would be a violation of criminal law and also cause for reverse-discrimination lawsuits, which have often been successful.
The simple solution to all of this racial strife, in both the NFL and the NBA, is so obvious and logical that no one has noticed it. Rosters in both pro sports are already about 80% black. Just finish the job by making the remainder black. And then, with only blacks on any team, it makes sense that their coaches/managers be black. End of problems, people. The non-blacks are free to form A League of Their Own in both sports. Our schools could follow in trace; and soon enough, the rest of American Society. Let birds of a feather flock together, and let us have Peace on Earth!
