Maher Bashes Warren For Her Crazy Education Plan
HBO's Bill Maher came out against Presidential Candidate Elizabeth Warren. He apparently is struggling to understand Warren's plan when it comes to hiring the Secretary of Education. Which is understandable. I think it is more than fair to struggle with the notion, that she is planning to have a trans-individual interview nominees on her behalf, just to be more inclusive. This is just a whole new level of pandering.
"Comedian Bill Maher seemed baffled by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., on Friday, suggesting that she was "crazy" in the way she wanted to vet her Secretary of Education.
His comments came after Warren pledged to allow an unidentified "young trans person" to veto her pick for leading the Education Department.
"Now, [former President Barack] Obama said people just don't want crazy stuff," Maher said during Friday's "Real Time with Bill Maher."
"Is this not crazy stuff?" he said, while also jokingly asking if Warren was running to serve as "President of Berkeley."
Prior to those comments, Maher was discussing Warren's and Sen. Bernie Sanders' candidacies for the Democratic nomination. Maher said that he's "always liked" Warren, but "she kind of [...] did some stuff I didn't like," he said, before discussing Warren's comments about the Education Secretary."
Warren's proposal for hiring a Secretary of Education:
"...over and over for my Secretary of Education. The first: It has to be someone who’s taught in a public school, hello? And part 2, because it came from a young trans person who asked about a welcoming community and I said it starts with a Secretary of Education who has a lot to do with where we spend our money, with what gets advanced in our public schools, with what the standards are, and I said, “I’m going to have a Secretary of Education that this young trans person interviews on my behalf, and only if this person believes that our Secretary or Secretary of Education nominee is absolutely committed to creating a welcoming environment, a safe environment, and a full educational curriculum for everyone will that person actually be advanced to be Secretary of Education."

"Warren, 70, has seen her poll numbers drop as the 2020 presidential race nears its first primary in Iowa on Feb. 3. In December, the Massachusetts Democrat pledged to annually read the names of murdered transgender people of color in the Rose Garden if she is elected president.
On Wednesday, Warren proposed a plan to censor "disinformation" on social media platforms."
This is just plain ridiculous. She is clearly trying to pander to the LGBTQ in hopes of getting more votes. But it's about as pathetic as when Corey Booker tried to play a race card in a last attempt to gain votes. Warren currently has no real chance of winning the Democrat primary so fortunately none of these odd ideas will come to fruition.
