Well, you must demand that any candidate for the House you intend to support swears to fire McCarthy if you want President Trump to run and win again. We have enough of these LIARS in the Democratic Party, we don’t need anyone anymore. Especially, Kevin McCarthy, he’s the snake in the grass that I have been telling you about for years.
He has been caught red-handed after a newly leaked piece of audio captured the GOP leader considering then-President Donald Trump to resign from office!
However, McCarthy responded to the story, stating that the assertions about the conversation were incorrect and that his spokesman Mark Bednar had denied the New York Times’ claims, saying, “McCarthy never stated he’d contact Trump to say he should resign.” That was, of course, before the audio was exposed.
However, the newly released audio, which McCarthy held with Liz Cheney, contradicts the 57-year-old House Minority Leader’s earlier assertion that he never planned to ask Trump to quit.
McCarthy stated over the phone that all Republicans who believe the 2020 election was rigged should be banned from Facebook and Twitter in addition to telling Trump to reign.
In the recorded conversation, McCarthy is heard saying to a gathering of GOP leaders on the recording that he doesn’t think Trump would stand down voluntarily and that he’s thinking about organizing Congress to impeach him again because he thinks it will pass both the House and the Senate.
McCarthy said that he would tell Trump, “I think [impeachment resolutions] will pass, and it would be my recommendation you should resign,” Adding, “what he did is unacceptable. Nobody can defend that and nobody should defend it.”
“Is there any chance? Are you hearing that he might resign? Is there any reason to think that might happen? ” Liz Cheney can be heard pressing McCarthy about whether Trump could possibly choose to resign on his own.
“I’m seriously thinking of having that conversation with him tonight,” McCarthy answered. “From what I know of him — I mean, you guys know him too — do you think he would ever back away?”
McCarthy said he would alert the former president of his plans to begin an impeachment trial if he did not resign.
“But what I think I’m going to do, is I’m going to call him.”
“I think this will pass, and that would be my recommendation you should resign,” McCarthy said. “That would be my take, but I don’t think he would take it, but I don’t know.”
