This is a sick case. French Authorities were alerted to a grisly murder after a bag was found with the partially eaten head of a 13-year-old. The child was later identified as Romain. Romain had run from his foster parent’s home to his mother’s home, unfortunately, she lived on the same street that a cannibal did.
“It has been revealed that the boy was killed in a terraced house on Friday before neighbors called the police on Sunday after complaining of ”a terrible smell”.
When a cleaner finally visited the house, she found Romain’s body parts, including his partially-eaten head, stuffed inside a bag.
On arriving at the scene, Romain’s heartbroken mum was heard screaming: ”He killed my son, he killed my baby.”
After the boy’s remains were found, an investigation was immediately launched to find his killer.”
“Hours later police were able to locate the occupant of the terraced house, a man referred to as Arther A., 32.
He was known for mental health problems and being violent in the city center of Arles.
According to Liberation neighbors spotted him earlier trying to escape through the house’s roof.
After being confronted by cops, he attempted to flee the scene and was shot dead by armed police.”
“Public prosecutor Laurent Gumbau said that the suspect, who reportedly had a psychiatric disorder and a history of mental illness, had past convictions for violent crimes.
Authorities added that the case is in the preliminary stages of the investigation, and stated that the dead suspect has not been formally identified as the teen’s killer.”
This poor kid was just trying to get home to his mom and fell prey to this deranged 32-year-old. The Cannibal, Arther, had just been released from a mental hospital earlier this month, and it is pretty clear they made a mistake. They should have locked him up and threw away the key.
