Trump addressed the nation Wednesday night explaining what new measures are going to be taken to combat the Corona Virus. He informed us that there will be a travel ban for 30 days preventing Europeans from coming here and many other precautions. He let everyone know that he is doing everything in his power to protect Americans. But it wasn’t enough for CNN’s Don Lemon. Lemon attacked the president’s address, he claimed it was confusing and could have been much more clear. Lemon had former Ohio Governor John Kasich on his show to discuss this address and blew up on him after he claimed Trump’s address was fine.
Lemon immediately got angry when Kasich reminded him that Trump reads from a teleprompter and tried to move on from the subject.
“I don’t know if he stuck to the script or not, but whatever script he read was wrong, because they had to clarify it several times,” Lemon said trying to bash Trump. “And I’ve just got to say if the president came out to calm people’s fears, he didn’t do a good job of it because he had to come back and clarify it several times! And this has been going on long enough for them to get it straight! We need straight, accurate information from this president and this administration and we’re not getting it!”
“And I don’t understand why you’re tip-toeing around it. He came out, gave an address that’s usually…that happens very rarely…he doesn’t get it right?!”
“First of all, he read it,” Kasich tried to respond. “And somebody — I don’t want to get into that.”
“Why not?! That’s why you’re here!” Lemon blew up. “To talk about the president’s address!”
Can I finish?” Kasich asked trying to contribute to the conversation.
“No, no you can’t, John!” Lemon denied Kasich. “Because we’re here to talk about the president — I don’t want you to go on and deflect and talk about something else, because we’re here to talk about the president’s address. And you said that someone else wrote it — he’s the president! Even if someone else wrote it, it should be right!”
Kasich tried to say there was some confusion out there and Lemon claimed it was because of the president. Eventually Lemon, after berating the president a bit more, allowed the former governor to speak.
“I thought it was fine. You can disagree with me. I thought it was fine,” Kasich told Lemon. “I thought he had the right tone and he no longer played with ‘We’re going to blame Democrats’… I hope he’s trying to move forward because he understands the seriousness of this situation. Now the fact that they clarified- it isn’t unusual in a speech for somebody to clarify something, OK? But I don’t think that the tone he showed tonight takes away from some clarification. I think he set a serious tone. That’s what I wanted out of him for a long time. And I think we got it.”

Trump is trying his best to protect Americans from this pandemic, Lemon is out of line. He should be happy that our leader is trying to keep us in the know when it comes to this virus and the precaution our government is taking to protect us. This isn’t a partisan issue Democrats and Republicans alike are going to be infected by this virus. This is an opportunity for our country to come together.
Don Lemon is a talking head dimwitted liberal operative. Nothing but drivel comes out of his mouth. President Trump could announce a cure for the Coronavirus, cancer and muscular dystrophy, and Lemon and his ilk would twist and spin it into a negative. It’s too bad the left and media can’t bask in the good fortune for Americans having a President working for the country and its people rather than a quest for the takeover of the country so they can direct everyone what to say, do and think.
Don Lemonhead is an ass. The need for clarification is because this bastard is to stupid to understand. Don you need to get your lemonhead of you posterior for once.
