Democrats are tearing down American history practically overnight. Libs have taken down numerous protesters claiming they were evil slavery supporters. But it’s not just confederate statues that have faced their wrath. Protesters have taken down Washington, Jefferson, Columbus, and they have been angrily eyeing the emancipation statue, which was bought and paid for by freed slaves. So when Connecticut Dems had a statue of Christopher Columbus taken down, Republicans across the aisle decided enough was enough, these Dems need a taste of their own medicine. So they brought forth a resolution to push Dems to change their party name since it is associated with slavery.
“Republican Party Chairman J.R. Romano held a Zoom call to say that Democratic leaders are hypocrites to support the removal of historic monuments.
“If we are to hold Christopher Columbus accountable for over 500 years after the fact, it’s our duty and our moral obligation to hold the Democratic Party accountable,‘’ Romano said.”
And that’s why CT Republicans came up with a resolution for the Democratic party to change their name.
“The resolution came the same day that a Christopher Columbus statue in the Nutmeg State’s capital of Hartford was removed because, according to The Associated Press, critics portrayed him as a “as a symbol of white supremacy.”
“In a long and historically accurate recitation, the resolution noted that it was the Democratic Party that:
- Was the driving force behind the Confederacy’s secession from the Union — to protect the institution of slavery;
- Tried desperately to block the “Reconstruction Amendments” to the Constitution, which were written to ensure the slaves freed by the Civil War had full rights of citizenship;
- Were behind the organized terror of the Ku Klux Klan in the Civil War’s aftermath and instituted the rigid segregation of the Jim Crow era.
- Was opposed to the civil rights movement even into post-World War II America.”
This is great it really sticks it to the Dems. I hope the rest of the GOP will take note and do the same to draw some of this unjustified wrath on Dems too.

Yes he actually opposed it under Eisenhower as senate majority leader. He didn’t want it passed under a Republican President. Welfare doesn’t get anyone rich…it’s bare subsistence! When I needed temporary disability for illness, I only qualified for $10 a month in food stamps/SNAP….! It wasn’t even worth the mounds of paperwork required to get the lousy $10.

Take a good look at the threats against black business owners by the BLM, they either jump onto the democratic band wagon pushed by the violent BLM or their businesses will be looted and burned down again. Yeah I was just going to make this statement myself, great minds think alike huh brother? It’s kind of like they always seem to forget about Watergate and Hillary Clinton too. Her first job right out of law school and her boss reams her butt out in the hallway of the courthouse, for with holding evidence and fired her there, on the spot. She started out cheating and lying and finished up the same way. Typical of the democratic party, they have always been corrupt, why we tolerated them for so long I don’t know.
One more thing I’m not going to let them do to me at least, I am not going to submit a mail-in vote even if I have to hand carry it to the RNC office and hand it in personally. If my name shows up on any democratic ballot anywhere, it will be by theft.
I always wondered how Johnson got on the ticket with Kennedy in the first place, there politics were so very different. Speculation is it was them that had Kennedy shot because he was going to pull us out of the war and even remove our Navy out of the bay of Tonquin altogether.

In the history of this country, he Democrats have been responsible for between 90% and 100% of all the evil visited upon our society. The first Democrat president, Andrew Jackson gave us the “Trail of Tears” and other crimes against native Americans. They gave us slavery and forced a Civil War upon us to eliminate the abomination. They resisted implementation of the Reconstruction Amendments which guaranteed the freed slaves full rights of citizenship. They instituted the KKK and Jim Crow laws to keep blacks “in their places”. They strongly opposed the Civil Rights acts that eliminated Jim Crow laws and gave black people equality with all other citizens. They gave us cities which are hell holes-human excrement on the streets, used needles, homelessness and misery and at the same time they gave us cities with unimaginable levels of crime. All but one of the top crime rate and murder capitals are run by these vipers. And, now they want to give us a socialized society which, effectively, would return us to slavery-but, this time everyone would get an opportunity to be a slave, regardless of color, gender (all 57 of them), race or religion (excuse me, there will be no religion allowed-I am talking about the religion you had before becoming a slave).
Big Ed – Your post is excellent and really tells the truth of the Democratic Party. Evidently, too many people have not learned their history and should go back to school to study up on the slavery of their ancestors. These young people do not even understand what they are doing today. I truly believe the older generation of blacks must be thoroughly disgusted with what the younger blacks are doing. The older generation definitely suffered much too much at the hands of cruel whites in the day. Now they see the advantages their race have acquired: education (if they want it), good schools, trade schools, community college if they can’t afford college. As anyone can see, there are many blacks in all sorts of fields because of their desire to learn and be educated: doctors, lawyers, teachers, professors, politicians, T.V. newspeople, etc. It is there for them now; it is up to them. But when you have BLM encouraging them to riot and destroy businesses and history, and not encourage their working for it, they turn their heads and listen to them. Young people, wake up. You have dreams and hopes like the rest of us. There is every opportunity for you out there. But you are not going to acquire those dreams if you follow the BLM leaders. Yes, black lives matter. Prove it the right way.
That’s why I am no longer a republican. The Republicans can be counted to use a water pistol on a five alarm fire. Why not make it a Federal crime with a mandatory 10 year sentence with a fine equal to the repair of the statue, etc plus 100,000 for any desecration of a church, tomb, statue, monument, or flag. Also make the law beyond the jurisdiction of the courts to interpret or rule on.
Not to many takers and it would stop it dead in its tracks.
Have no worry; I believe Pres. Trump is going to get tough with these 10-year sentences he is proposing. Let’s hope he gets the backing he needs to make this happen.
