Biden Is Hypocritically Planning To Replace Almost All Trump Appointed U.S. Attorneys

Dems hatred of Trump is being showcased as the Biden Administration appears to be removing every trace of the Trump presidency. Biden signed over 37 executive actions within the first few days of his presidency, undoing many Trump policies, and now there are claims that executive actions were just the beginning. The Biden Administration also plans to remove almost every attorney appointed by Trump. But Biden has gone on record before against such an act.

According to a multiple sources, the Biden administration plans to ask as many as 56 Trump-appointed United States attorneys to resign, which would represent almost all of former President Trump’s appointees, with the exception of special counsel John Durham, who is leading the investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, and David Weiss, who is overseeing the investigation into Hunter Biden’s taxes.

No justification was offered for the wholesale replacement of these attorneys, other than the fact that they were appointed by Donald Trump. Their replacement, then, would clearly serve no purpose other than to ensure that all U.S. attorneys are politically aligned with the president.”

But this a change for the president. Back in a 2007 statement, Biden had the opposing view when it came to firing attorneys. He said as much while speaking out against Attorney General Gonzales. He claimed Gonzales “fired some of America’s best and brightest U.S. Attorneys for what appear to be crass political reasons, shattering the American people’s faith that their laws will be enforced impartially, and with the integrity we expect from our prosecutors.”

But this is all partisan politics as per usual. Biden never cared about this kind of things when Dems did it. He was only upset about the firing of U.S. Attorneys when the GOP did it. So really we can expect that there are going to be more blatant double standards.
