Beto O’Rourke failed to gather enough support during the Dem primary and it’s for the best that he dropped out as he has some radical idea when it came to guns. O’Rourke was not opposed to gun confiscation and constantly talked about disarming Americans. He made Biden’s current gun control plan look like weak tea in comparison. But now he is making an even more bizarre claim that will make you question his sanity. He claims that in the next 10 years the U.S. could become the next Nazi Germany.
He said as much during an interview on “Morning Joe.”
“The proudest democracy on the face of the planet will become a memory if we do not fight for it right now,” O’Rourke said. “So we should take no comfort in the fact that Joe Biden was successfully sworn in, no comfort in the fact that Congress seems to be operating as normal. This thing is on a roll right now, and if you look at the Beer Hall Putsch in Germany, 1923, it was 10 years later Hitler is chancellor. We are operating under the big lie right now in America. We’ve got to stop it. That’s up to all of us in this great democracy.”
O’Rourke served three terms in the House of Representative before launching a failed bid to oust Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, in 2018.”
Beto here is saying that Trump is not only going to come back, he is saying Trump is going to come back and take over the country as a tyrant. That’s just ludicrous. Trump will be 85 in ten years. He would be one of the oldest leaders. Trump may come back and run for president in 2024 which would be great for our country. But who knows what’s going to happen, especially with many ex-GOP officials in talks about starting a third party. If they succeed in creating another conservative party, that is anti-Trump, they will just be dividing the Republican party making it that much harder for Trump or any conservative to win.
