Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine Pushes For New “Woke” Standards

You know when I was younger we had movies with all these grand ideas about flying cars, space travel, and the technology you could only dream of. But we could not have been more wrong. America is now dealing with the most backward trends. We have the LGBTQ trying to force their gender identities and now the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine is trying to revise their guidelines so they include men, because trans are muddling medicine.

“The Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM) has published its latest position statement, affirming its commitment to gender equality and health equity and providing guidelines on infant feeding and lactation-related language and gender.”

“ABM recognizes that not all people who give birth and lactate identify as female, and that some individuals identify as neither female nor male. The statement states that to be inclusive to all people in written materials, the use of desexed or gender-inclusive language is appropriate in many settings. The statement also calls for an end to violence and discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and intersex, plus (LGBTQI+) people.

“Language has power. The language that we use should be as inclusive as possible when discussing infant feeding,” Kair said. “When working with patients it is best to ask them their affirmed terminology. When communicating medical research, language should accurately reflect the population studied so as not to mask research needs.”

I would hope that they are just talking about confused females that identify as male. At least then they are not wasting everyone’s time and they are talking about the person that can actually feed the baby. But knowing how twisted things have become, they are likely including confused men and encouraging them to have the baby latch on as well. And just to be clear it is not discrimination not to include men in Breastfeeding medicine, the idea is just ridiculous. Men can’t have babies and we don’t lactate, that’s biology, that thing we used to all agree on.
