A GOP Congresswoman Just Ripped A Trans Activist To Total Pieces….

Republican South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace made transgender activist and censorship advocate Alejandra Caraballo go on the defensive during a series of questions at a House hearing Tuesday.

The South Carolina Republican lit up a transgender activist who appeared as a star Democratic witness on hateful rhetoric, using the activist’s own words to spotlight hate speech.

During the hearing, Mace asked if violent rhetoric aimed at government officials carrying out their constitutional duty is a threat to democracy. All the Democrats’ witnesses agreed.

Then Mace turned to Alejandra Caraballo, a transgender activist at Harvard Law School’s Cyberlaw Clinic.

Mace then highlighted Caraballo’s tweet from June following the overturning of Roe. v. Wade.

“The 6 justices who overturned Roe should never know peace again,” Caraballo tweeted. “It is our civic duty to accost them every time they are in public. They are pariahs. Since women don’t have their rights, these justices should never have a peaceful moment in public again.”

Mace then asked Caraballo, “Do you believe your rhetoric is a threat to democracy when you’re calling to accost a branch of government, the Supreme Court?”

Caraballo weakly responded that the congresswoman did not offer a fair “characterization” of the tweet. But Caraballo did not deny writing it.

“I carry a gun everywhere I go when I’m home in my district because I know personally that rhetoric has consequences,” Mace said to Caraballo.

She then said that her home and car had been vandalized and broken into and that she’s had to beef up her personal security. Mace then pointed out that Caraballo, in another tweet, had called the Supreme Court an “organ of the far right.”

Mace then recalled for the witness that a would-be-armed assassin was arrested near Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home this summer.

“It’s clear to me that we have to call out the threats to our democracy emanating from where they come, whether it’s the right or the left,” Mace said in closing, “and I look forward to inviting more people who actually know what they’re talking about to our witness panels in the 118th Congress.”

Mace then asked, “So my last question today of Ms. Caraballo, do you stand by these comments, this kind of rhetoric on social media, and do you believe it’s a threat to democracy?”

Caraballo attempted to dodge the question by offering to clarify and add context to the hateful messages. However, a man who identifies as a woman is not an ideal source for clarity or context.

“I had a question, is it yes or no: Do you believe your rhetoric is a threat to democracy when you’re calling to accost a branch of government, the Supreme Court?” Mace said.

Caraballo was reduced to saying the words used were not an accurate characterization of the statements, though it’s hard to imagine what else they could mean.

The congresswoman pressed further, asking, “Did you not tweet that? That you thought that the Supreme Court justices should be accosted?”

The trans activist refused to answer yes or no. Mace went on to describe other officials facing threats, such as the armed stalker arrested for going after Justice Brett Kavanaugh in July.

That is a good way to deactivate an activist.

In the end, Mace brought the receipts and Carabello had no explanation because there can’t be one. Democrats are rabid hypocrites who want to shut everyone else up by the force of law while they rant like children, up to and including threatening violence.

That is a good way to deactivate an activist. Watching them get exposed is always entertaining and informative.
