Washington School Tells Teacher She’s Not Allow To Fly This “Controversial” Flag

Our schools are going to the dogs. Liberals have ruined public schools as they spread their propaganda and squash any sort of conservative voice. A middle school teacher dared to express her pro-police view with a thin blue line flag and was the immediate target of liberals. They saw her flag as a disruption to the classroom, and they demanded she take it down.

A Marysville Middle School teacher had a Thin Blue Line flag hanging in her classroom to show her support for police, but the school district’s human resources department said the flag could cause “disruption in the classroom,” because it is a “political symbol.”

The teacher’s brother, Chris Sutherland, was formerly a police officer with the Marysville Police Department and a school resource officer when the fatal Marysville Pilchuck High School shooting happened on Oct. 24, 2014, which resulted in five deaths,

The teacher first had a Thin Blue Line sticker on her laptop, which an assistant principal reportedly objected to over “concerns about how students, families, and community members might interpret what the image is intending to communicate and that this interpretation may cause a disruption to the learning environment,”

The initial objections were dropped, but a second assistant principal complained when the teacher hung a pro-police flag on a bulletin board in her classroom, along with photos of her brother.”

“They told me that it’s controversial to have that flag up,” Sutherland explained. “That it makes kids and staff feel unsafe, which to me, that does not make sense at all.”

Sutherland was ordered to take the flag down since it was seen as controversial. Meanwhile, there are Black Lives Matter and Pride flags hanging in other classrooms.

She lost her brother who was a police officer and she puts the thin blue line flag up to commemorate his life. There is no reason that she should have to take it down. But she should be able to have the thin blue line flag up regardless. There is nothing wrong or controversial with backing the police. Only hateful libs would think that. I think it’s even crazier that the school allows BLM flags but demands support of the police be removed immediately. Look at any city where they defunded the police, crime is up, and people are struggling with long wait times due to the shortages in officers. Police are by no means the enemy, but the liberal ideology that they are definitely is.
