A town hall in Queens became a fiery battleground as voices rose in passionate defense of prioritizing American citizens and lawful immigration, challenging a high-profile legislator’s controversial positions.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez found herself facing the heat this week, not just on Capitol Hill, but also within her own New York district. Local constituents, clearly disgruntled with the congresswoman’s lenient approach towards illegal immigration, support for extravagant American aid to Ukraine, and her stance on augmenting the national debt, expressed their dissatisfaction loudly and publicly.
During a town hall meeting in Queens, one man clad in a shirt adorned with a Cuban flag and waving an American one, boldly voiced his concern. Rising from his seat, he approached the stage, declaring with conviction that American citizens ought to be prioritized over immigrants, emphasizing, “America first!”
