A disturbing video surfaced online about the horrible act a mom did to her child. One witness was able to capture the violent incident and shared the whole truth with the world.
The video was so violent and disturbing that youtube has to delete it. According to reports, in the footage, you’ll see the young mother holding her child who appears to cry. The little baby is cradling in mom’s arms and is utterly helpless.
AWM describes the horrific scene:
The mom is seen slapping the little one again and again while she hides in the corner near a rack of clothes.
Mom then stuffs a bottle in the baby’s mouth and tries to force her to eat to quiet her up. But that isn’t working in this moment, and it gets mom frustrated.
Moments later, mom grips the baby’s hair and pulls it back violently. The child’s head snaps back, and she cries as mom utters something cruel to the helpless child. When the baby still refuses to eat and isn’t getting calmer, (who would when they’re being beaten in public?) mom lifts her up, so she is sitting straight. She tries to ignore the baby who pulls the bottle from her mouth.
Mom is clearly frustrated and is taking her aggression out on the baby. But that is not all right.
However, child abuse didn’t stop there, in Texas another act of child abuse was witnessed in public:
Erika Burch was shopping when she saw the little girl with her hair wrapped around the shopping cart handle as the man pushed it. “Please stop! I promise I won’t do it again! Please stop!” Burch said the little girl pleaded.
“Somebody had to stand up for her,” Burch of Cleveland said. “She can’t stand up for herself. Whatever he’s doing, big or small, if I’m there, I’m going to stop and say something.”
Burch posted a series of images on Facebook of what appeared to be a man pushing a shopping cart with his daughter’s hair wrapped around the handle of the buggy.
“She was hunched over, her knees are bent,” Burch said. “She’s saying ‘Please stop, I won’t do it again.’ She’s saying it slow like she knows not to say it loud, because she’s going to get in trouble.”
According to some parents who claim they know the girl, she may even have autism. Burch, who has four children under 7 years old herself, said she didn’t hesitate to intervene.
She said she began arguing with the man in the photograph, as an employee brought out tissues for the young girl to dry her tears.
When she called the cops, Cleveland Police Department’s Sergeant Bartley responded to the scene.
“The Cleveland Police Department has received numerous calls in regards to a child having her hair pulled last night at Cleveland Wal-Mart,” the Cleveland Police Department wrote on Facebook.
“He has the right to discipline his children,” Burch said the sergeant told her. He reportedly told her there has to be a bodily injury to be child abuse.
“Now this baby had to go home with this monster thinking that nobody cared about her and it’s okay for this animal to pull her by the hair of her head,” Burch wrote.
“I want her to know, it is not OK for anyone to grab you by the hair of your head, it is not OK for anyone to drag you by the hair on your head,” Burch said.
