What Country Is Putin Invading? Biden Confused Ukraine For Iran In SOTU Address

This guy… I don’t know why anyone is shocked that Biden gaffed his way through the State of the Union address. Most of us remember when, then, candidate Biden couldn’t remember his own name or the office he was running for. So I don’t find it shocking that he would forget the name of the country that Russian president Vladimir Putin has invaded.

“Putin may circle Kyiv with tanks, but he’ll never gain the hearts and souls of the Iranian people,” Biden said to an awkward slow clap.

“He’ll never, he’ll never extinguish their love of freedom,” he continued before someone yelled from the crowd and the trepidatious applause grew.

“And he will never, never weaken the resolve of the free world.”

Biden’s poor leadership has all but destroyed US confidence. Especially his fatally flawed withdrawal from Afghanistan and the mishandling at the US borders.

According to a survey conducted by YouGov in conjunction with the Charles Koch Institute that was released on Friday, a plurality of Americans (48 percent) said they either strongly or somewhat oppose “going to war with Russia to protect Ukraine’s territorial integrity” should Russia invade. Just 27 percent favored such a move while 24 percent said they didn’t know.

Meanwhile, 73 percent agreed that the United States “should prioritize domestic issues over foreign policy issues,” and just 7 percent agreed that foreign policy should take precedence.

The poll also found little enthusiasm for increasing the U.S. military presence around the world, with 40 percent saying the United States should be less engaged, while 32 percent said it should remain about the same.

In a completely separate survey by CNN on Monday, found that 58 percent of Americans answered “not much” or “not at all” when asked how much they trusted Biden to make the right decision about Ukraine, while just 42 percent answered a “great deal” or “moderately.” A further breakdown showed that 34 percent of respondents answered “not at all” and 24 percent answered, “not much,” while just 13 percent said they had a “great deal” of belief in the president.

One thing that almost everyone agreed with? They don’t want to get involved in the Russian-Ukrainian War. Espesspecially with a president that can’t remember the name of the country we’re supposed to defend at the helm.

Watch

Oh, a report played live during the STOU address on NewsMax that said that 68% of Americans don’t believe Putin would have ever invaded if Trump was still president. Ya think?
